There are many cool things about this device but I think the best is the way you can pick it up for 5 mins at a time when you get the chance and it's immediate fun. Once you get your head around the UI you can make great sounds and tunes really quickly. I don't have time to write a massive review but I can say that this is a much better bet than a midi keyboard and computer set up. I have spent ages just making a pattern that repeats then tweaking the sound with the various knows and adding delay and reverb. You can get lost in this for hours but you can also get your fix in 5 mins as the machine boots up in 10 seconds, is portable and the sound quality is astounding, proper professional stuff. It's just about the perfect gadget. Beautifully made, loads of coloured lights, totally self contained. For what it does it is fairly priced. If you're thinking about it, go for it. This is one purchase you won't get bored or frustrated with because there's literally no set up time. Its completely self contained.You can play with it for 2 minutes or two hours. Buy some good head phones!

I love this Groovebox. This little gadget is suprisingly capable if you spend time to learn it. It's fun to use, has plenty of input/ output ports, it's small and portable with built in battery and you can connect it to other equipment. I spent far too much time with it making some silly beats. It could use additional synth channel but if you are creative you can work around it. Bottom line is - if you want to use it on it's own - you absolutely can and make full song on it. Per channel fader would be nice though - it only has master one. If you embrace it's limitations, the workflow is suprisingly logical. You can upload you own pre-cut samples, adjust and build synths. The only downside is no export option - you will have to figure this out by connecting to PC and live record. But it's a groovebox after all. Almodst perfect.

Not for me and returned. Nothing wrong with the device just didn't suit me due to lack of screen display to see what was happening. Reliant on colours and remembering what part you are in. Very fast to create initial samples and demos are good. Linked via midi to DAW - all fine just not my thing. Like a lot of these devices actually playing midi files is a lot harder. Just getting them on board the device is a pain. Returned and insetad trying an Akai MPC 37

A great sounding sequencer and sound module, very versatile with midi and sync connections, two synth tracks, two MIDI tracks and four drum tracks. Intuitive to use, you can create complete songs in a short space of time.

This unit is imo an absolutely excellent tool for working quickly and is so well specced at the back to,inputs & outputs etc.. You really have to test it for yourself to see how good it is. Once youve wrapped your head around the basics you can really get to town with it and get some good results quickly and in realtime. I think the sound quality is excellent as well. I highly recommend this unit and i am considering getting the rythym version as well. A*****

Incredible bit of kit. I’m new to electric music making, but this feels so intuitive to use. There’s an amazing amount of preloaded sounds to play with. Working my way through the tutorials etc and it’s so easy to pick up. I’ve got my first gig on Friday night to a crowd of 3 - this will impress.

Super petit séquenceur avec deux pistes synth, deux midi pour autres machines (ou synthe) et quatres batteries. Très portable et super connectique complète à l'arrière. Un peu limité seule pour live, idéal avec sa soeurette rythm. J'ai craqué après celle-ci pour former un beau couple novation circuit tracks/rythm. Merci novation pour la portabilité permettant de faire un petit set de 2/3 heures n'importe où. Il ne manque que le bleutooth pour atteindre la perfection. Permettant ainsi des connections à enceinte ou autre système bt... Bref c'est la seule chose qui manque à ces petits machines.

Maravillosa caja de ritmos. Tiene infinidad de posibilidades y una amplia gama de sonidos. Muy creativa para Músicos experimentados o para músicos amateur. Me encantó haber invertido en este aparato.

Je connaissais déjà partiellement le workflow qui est identique au circuit rythm que je possédais avant l’achat du circuit tracks. Il faut le dire car la prise en mains aura été beaucoup plus simple. Les deux parties synthé sont formidables et au grandes possibilités. Les sections rythmiques sont identiques à la circuits rythm. Novation vous donne un sound bank de bases et des presets synthé parfait pour commencer immédiatement. Vous pouvez par ailleurs créer vos propres presets synthé et surtout sampler directement de depuis les deux entrées mono. Ça c’est vraiment génial. Le tout sur batterie. Tout a été bien penser!
