Great Access Point.
Our company did a review of many access points on the market for use in our small business customers and we settled on this one. The value for this model as well as the larger AP25 get is great. One of the reasons we were looking is that another brand we were using started having issues with Apple devices connecting and in our tests this one didn't have any problems. Specifically we had a non-profit customer that used very many older devices and they were having problems connecting to some of the other brands WiFi 6 access points.I prefer this smaller AP22 access point as its theoretical wireless speed is greater than a gigabit ethernet, so it is fast enough. It also costs quite a bit less and doesn't run nearly as hot as the larger AP25. I would rather have 2 of these for nearly the same price as one of the larger units.Setup is easy with either their website or an app you can install on your phone. It supports meshing and all of the features you would expect from an access point (VLAN, multiple SSID, wireless mesh, POE). They have models that come with DC power for a little extra if needed.I like how they setup the web management as you can control multiple networks on one account, so it is great for an IT company like ours with multiple client, or for a business with multiple locations. It's also still simple enough for single location small business. It allows you to manage their InstantOn switches and access points in the same portal. For companies that already have an SNMP management system (Auvik, Domotz, etc) the device can be unhooked from the web/phone app management and instead setup and controlled locally on it's own web interface and monitored through SNMP.

Perfect for my wifi-cafe/captive portal
I live in a heavy-tourist trafficked area with very limited cell/data service, so everyone is always looking for wifi, and no one really delivers it here (even the biggest hotel doesn't offer wifi in its rooms, just the lobby!). My office has a lot of excess space and we're a store front, so in July I started researching wifi-cafe type software and networking equipment and struggled with 2 other routers & services that swore it would work, and well, it didn't.One of the software providers recommended this router, and its been really good. The range isn't as strong as others, but when we double it with an extender our needs are met, and we've had a great few weeks with it so far. Very pleased with how easy it was to setup and integrate with my captive portal (login page).

Works well overall!
In an apt the signal drops trying to get to the other end of the apt. Had to rig it more in the middle of the apt high up on a wall to increase the coverage. Still getting some signal drop but it's doing better now. I would have thought it would reach all the 2 bedroom apt more consistently. The is a clear shot from where it's at now and the far end of the apt without many walls.Easy to install and the app to monitor things is very good!

I had forgotten the peace that comes from stability.
I've used many big names in residential Wi-Fi routers. I don't think I should mention brands, but 4 major brands sold here on Amazon for mesh networking all failed in some way. Random devices dropping or rebooting every other day were the norm.Granted, I probably take my network more seriously than many, but these Aruba's literally changed my life. Everything stays connected without me having to do anything. I'm a big HomeKit device user, and I no longer get "no response" errors since installing these.I needed a separate router, since these are just access points, but it was worth it. I bought 4 of these for the same price as 3 of any competition. They aren't the fastest, but they are stable and fast enough. These are aimed at businesses and are not intended to work without a separate router. Keep that in mind, as they can be setup quickly and easily, but have some advanced enterprise features that you can get lost in. I've been a network engineer for 20 years, and I highly recommend these.

Really let down by WiFi performance
No improvement over my previous Netgear AC1450. Tried 2.4ghz, 2.4+5ghz, and 5ghz only but WiFi connection kept dropping. Tried limiting channels to those that were least used by neighbors' WiFi and that did not help either.Do not buy this piece of junk! My computer is 25 feet away from the Access Point and dropping WiFi constantly. To make matters worse, they charge return shipping and a restocking fee. I am really disappointed by this product, the seller, and Amazon!

Great wifi mesh access point
I had to replace a mesh wifi network and settled on the Aruba Instant On system.I used an A11D as the gateway and connected this access point as a repeater. The speed is great and the signal is very strong. I am very happy with this mesh wifi network. If you are installing this access point remotely and connecting via ethernet, be sure to purchase a POE injector!

Functional. Good, even. But this was not an easy install
This is hands down better than the TP-Link it replaced. Management is easier, performance is better, signal strength is better. I'm very happy with it so far.ButInstallation was a nightmare. Had to reboot at least a half dozen times before the power light stopped glowing amber, which could mean anything according to my web searches. Once I hit the magic number of reboots, setting up a network was easy, but connecting to it was not. I had to give it a static DHCP lease in my router, and even then several devices couldn't connect because the access point was supposedly full. It wasn't, but (and I speak from experience) yelling that at this device does no good.Overall, performance is very good so far, but the install was not easy

Calling all Airheads - Best upgrade for home
Aruba is truly a leader in wireless! This was a fantastic upgrade of the garbage that Spectrum tries to pass of as an AP. Skip your consumer grade stuff and go Aruba. Easy install. Easy setup. Works 10 times faster than most other gear. You pay about the same and get a huge upgrade.
