Took a chance.
I ordered this extend extension so that I could have more light in my garage. Follow: I used this goose neck extension to relocate the light in my garage door opener and it works great. All it takes is just to screw it into the light source in the machine attache a light at the end and when you garage door opens you have great lighting. And as for the price I got 2, and the length perfect. Its going on 2yrs and it still works.

Not fitting tightly in socket
Flexible as described and good length for my application. But did not seem to screw into socket very tightly. Wanted to pull out of socket when adjusting position of bulb.

Perfect to plug into ceiling fan light to add yet another grow light bulb
What an ingenious solution for my grow light problem: I needed one for a plant on our giant coffee table, but I didnโt want to have another cord to plug in for a grow lightโฆI have quite a few. However. I have a ceiling fan over the table with lights. I replaced one bulb with this, put an LED grow bulb (with remote) on the end and BAM!! Itโs PERFECT! I have to leave the light switch on the fan โonโ so the light timer works, so I unscrewed the other 2 Edison bulbs just enough they turn off. If I need more light, I just tighten them a bit and they come on. I also have plans to use the other one for a screw-in security camera that is supposed to mount in a ceiling socket, which I donโt have outdoors. I can rig this up easily using an old lamp or clamp on light and hang it upside down if need be. The goose neck arm makes this extremely versatile .

Fits loose in light socket. Got these to get the LED bulbs away from my garage door opener circuit board. It works, but they are not tight.
