How do I know I am getting the real thing from a reputable supplier, and not a cheap, watered down knock-off?

From what I've been reading, counterfeit products are extremely common in this category. And buying from and shipped by Amazon assures you of nothing. If a seller of fake products has their orders fulfilled by Amazon, the fake product is intermingled with Amazon's, as well as anyone else's product, in the same bin. So no matter the seller you select, if it is shipped by Amazon, you are getting a random bottle that may or may not be fake. It is also rampant with memory cards. There's a reason some of these products cost much less than half as they do elsewhere. I fully understand there needs to be higher markups in brick and mortar retail shops, but the numbers don't match. Amazon only cares about pumping out products and advertising the lowest price. Until there is significant backlash about their epidemic of counterfeit products, you are likely getting a fake of unknown origin.

It is blue out of the bottle. Once applied it dries clear.

The color of this is a light blue which would make white hair appear whiter, not yellow.

I’ve been using this conditioner for about 30 years, since discovering it in the U.S. It is an amazing product that gets through knots so much better than other conditioners.
