Survived throwing and accidents-play. Thomas can manage to go even on carpet and thicker rugs. It's suitable to go on Brio wooden rail trucks, but, It won't go up on the hill or bridges, not strong enough, so need a little push. Also, going off the truck on rail bends. Despite of this, I wouldn't give any more stars, as it is truly miracle that this toy is still working after my son's treatment :-D

Here’s the history behind Kenji’s prototype Kenji is based on a 0 series Shinkansen, also known as a "Bullet Train". These were the first generation of such engines and were designed specifically to run the high-speed Tōkaidō Shinkansen line in Japan. By 2008, all units had been withdrawn from active service, however a large number are preserved, including one at the National Railway Museum in York, which was donated as a gift by the West Japan Railway Company in 2001. This motorized engine can also run on wooden track. I tested it out Today and it works perfectly I absolutely love this engine
