Color Quest: Challenging Color-by-Number Art for Adults

This really is a challenging, fun book. I wasn't sure what to expect even after reading the other reviews but I have really enjoyed this book. It takes a while to complete a picture but it is a fun, relaxing way to have something to do while watching TV or just sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine. This is a somewhat over-sized book, and the little squares, etc. are somewhat small, but you can still see the numbers so you will know what color to fill in each square. There are a variety of pictures to complete, from animals to geometrical designs, and you won't know what picture you are completing until you are about half done. If you want to cheat, you can look in the back of the book, as there is a picture of each completed design there. The paper is heavier and the designs are, thankfully, just printed on one side of each page, so you don't have to worry about your markers or pens bleeding through the paper onto a design on the other side of the page. Not only is this a great book for someone who likes coloring by numbers and puzzles, but this would be also be a great item for someone who likes to have something to do while watching TV or someone who is in the hospital. I plan to bring this book to work along with my colored pencils so I can work on this during my lunch hour. It's a great quality book with a nice, heavier feel and is definitely gift quality. I highly recommend it!

I’ve had many a coloring book in my day, and I’ve enjoyed many of them. There is something very cathartic about coloring, and it is a great way to pass the time in a way that allows for free thought. This coloring book is so different though. I have found that not only am I free to de-stress and relax, I am not pressured to be ultimately super creative yet I can still make something beautiful and worthwhile. The small color by number shapes give me very precise areas in which to concentrate my attentions. I have found myself taking this book everywhere and wanting more and more time to continue the relaxation and mindlessness of coloring. I have already bought the other two books in the series and am anxiously awaiting more!

Good quality, no bleeding through the pages with the markers I used. The pictures are a fun complexity for adults, teens, maybe some older children.

There are so many things to love about this coloring book! I really like that the image reveals as you color it. Without turning to the back and seeing the finished images, it's virtually impossible to tell what you're coloring when you pick a blank page. This first book has a nice variety of images, from animals to people to buildings and bugs. I also love that this book is time consuming but not difficult. The pixelated images look incredible when they're completed. The pages are thick enough that I don't have to worry about bleed-through when using washable markers, and the pages are all single sided and perforated. Because the coloring areas are so small, the marker strokes from water-based markers are less visible than most coloring books, leaving the finished images looking a lot nicer than many other books. I've used water-based markers, fine-liner pens, gel pens, and Prismacolor colored pencils and they all look great in this book. My only complaint is that I wish there were a larger variety of geometric shapes to color. Most of the images are made up of of triangles, with a couple pentagon, square, and hexagon images. There is only one image made from circles, and I'd have liked to see more of those as well.

Just got this today and I can't wait to get started. This book is BIG 10x14 inches. The pages are perforated and of heavy weight, good for markers or gel pens as will as pencils. This is a "color-by-numbers" book with a twist! You are coloring in small "pixels" and you don't know what the finished "picture" will be. There is a color ledger for each page in the margins, so you don't have to refer to one ledger for the whole book. You can tear out a page grab the colors needed for that page and you can color on the go if you wish. There is also a page of thumb nail pictures of what the finished pages will look like. My only complaint is that the numbers on each page are a bit light and can be a little hard to see, but is VERY good for the finished page because the numbers will not show through. For that reason only is why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5.

Das Buch ist etwas größer als DINA4 und die Seiten sind auf dickererm Papier, die sich raustrennen lassen! Das Anmalen nimmt einige Zeit mit sich! Auch unser 6jähriger Sohn ist begeistert dabei. Es sind 30 tolle unterschiedliche Motive mit unterschiedlichen Ausmalfelder (6eckig - keis usw). Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis finde aufgrund der Größe und Menge der Motive super!

Me pareció caro y además no me gusta que el plazo de entrega era muy amplio. Pero le pongo 5 estrellas porque la calidad del papel es buenísima y me entretiene mucho y quedan unos dibujos preciosos. Yo lo hago con rotuladores y el papel resiste perfectamente.Además se pueden arrancar las hojas fácilmente para trabajar más cómodamente.

I had the cityscapes version of this book and loved it so much! Decided to purchase this one and I have no regrets. It is of an incredible quality, the images are so fun, and its so affordable for the amazing product you receive. Could not say enough good things about this product, 100/10 recommend!

Trae muchas imágenes para pintar, es grande, bueno para relajarse un poco. Colores faciles de conseguir.
