How uniform is the toasting on both sides and across the toast on this? Even browning on both sides?

While not uniform it is close. Probably complete the uniform is impossible location of the coils. The very back is a little hotter and the very front is less hot but it’s not worth complaining about as it isn’t muchDifferent.
