All I can tell you is Warner is legit. I bought a 3" knife. I realized it was the exact same tool I've been brutalizing for 20 years. The name was worn off but it was the same tool.

Is it thick enough remove trim and or casing?

It can be helpful but depending on how secure the trim or casing is, it may not be able to do the whole job. After all, despite some versatility, it is a putty knife.

does it remove wallpaper?

It might but you would be better served with something stiffer.
