I just used this conditioner for the first time today and I’m already impressed. The rosemary and mint smell super fresh and clean. I struggle with scalp irritation and eczema, but my scalp feels calm and refreshed with no itching so far. My hair feels really soft, smooth, and silky after rinsing. If it keeps working like this, it’s definitely going to be a staple for me.

I have curly, medium density, dry, high porosity hair. I needed a deep conditioning treatment that would seal my strands, smooth my hair from frizz, lock in moisture and add shine. This product does just that. Works amazing to define curls as well. BUT…. a few tips if using this for the perfect silk press!!!!!!….. Section the hair and put a nickel sized amount or less to each section. (Best if hair is already detangled from your shower conditioner to make this easier). Work it through thoroughly, comb it so it’s evenly coated and don’t skip your ends. For people that are heavy handed with conditioners and leave-ins like me, it will feel as if you don’t have enough product in your hair. But TRUST THE PROCESS!! Remember not to use this conditioner as your “slip” conditioner if you’re doing a silk press, it should be used as a treatment. A little goes a veryyy long way. (Reminds me of how you would apply the k18 repair leave in) If it doesn’t feel like much, you probably put the right amount. Once the product is deposited, use steam or a heat cap for like 20 mins so the product can penetrate. Rinse THOROUGHLY (i find it a little difficult to rinse out). If you want a silk press and too much product is used or if it’s not rinsed out fully, your hair will be greasy and weighed down. Overall an amazing product. But must be used correctly according to the hairstyle you desire. If you have curls and keeping your hair in it’s natural state and not doing a blow out, you can be a little more liberal with the product for more defined curls.
