My original OEM mount broke and cost a little more than this one. The OEM mount was cheaply made so I looked around and found the CNC Spindle Holder. I was concerned because it was on made for my machine but the Dewalt DWP611 fit perfectly. The mount on my machine fits on a plates, so I had to drill and tap the plate so it would fit. I verified the measurements for the hole placement, they are indeed 70mm x 50mm. I drilled the plate and tapped it using a 10-32NF tap. I attached the mount using the screws provided. I am indeed happy with this mount. I expect it to last the life of the machine. I think this might be the first time I gave anyone 5 STARS

I changed to a Makita router on my cnc machine. You will need this to use on your foxalien cnc 4040- ex. It works great. No movement.

The price was right so I didnʻt waste my time making one. Now I have a useful accessory that added to my shop capabilities.

Good fit with FoxAlien 4040-XE CNC with a 65mm 1.5kW 400Hz air cooled CNC spindle.

For a 30 dollar bracket this part is junk. Looks like someone fell asleep at the belt sander when finishing the part as it doesn't even sit flat on the mounting bracket. My favorite part is the fact that it has a "quality control passed" sticker. Someone had to take the time to put on a sticker and didn't bother looking at the only two parts. To the company, let me save you guys a few cents a part and don't bother with the sticker.

Perfect fit for the Dewalt DWP611 router! It bolts right onto the front of the machine with ease and fits the spindle perfectly. I do suggest using a light or medium duty Loctite on the bolt to reduce the chance of them backing out during operation and to reduce vibration in everything.

It may or may not be obvious if you've never bought one of these mounts, but they're actually an assembly of two different parts. The 65mm mount and the base plate.In order to lower the weight and have my router closer to my Z-axis assembly, I only used the 65mm mount half of this product.Dimensions and weight:- The 65mm mount half is ~79×79×40mm and weights 290 grams.- The base plate is ~80×60×12mm and weights 172 grams with the 8 screws.I've included CAD photos with some dimensions as well as my own assembly made from 3/8" birch plywood. The M5 mounting holes at the bottom of the 65mm mount are used to connect the two halves together. The spacing of those holes is 68×28mm and they are roughly 15mm deep.You may think it's expensive for what it is, but two solid blocks of aluminium aren't cheap to begin with, then there's all the precision machining required, the surface finish has post-processing to make it look nice and the black anodization is nice and even on all the surfaces.The reason I went with this one is simply because the FoxAlien black mount fits a lot better in my design than the Genmitsu blue mount.If I ever need to buy another 65mm mount, I will buy this one again.
