Hard as Rock
Package came on time but the candy taste old and they were hard. Like they been sitting for ages. Not fresh at all. I can't eat these. If I had dentures, they would be broken by now

If You've Never Had These; Think Butterfinger Without the Chocolate.
In gauging how much candy would be in a 2-lb bag, I envisioned a bag of sugar which is typically 4-lbs. (Though, like most of the people who seek out this candy, I remember when the standard size of sugar was 5 pounds.) Anyway, I thought that price was a tad high for what I expected to get but I wanted them badly enough to pay it. With daily temperatures near or over 100 degrees, there is not a large selection of candies that will survive being shipped this time of year. When the candy arrived, there was significantly more than what I had expected, which it a good thing. I think so anyway. Candy arrived fresh and in very good shape, for the most part. Every once in a while, one will be crumbly when unwrapped but I'd rather that be the case than nuggets that are sticky or stale. The mild coconut top note, followed by a lingering peanut buttery flavor is just as I recall from childhood.
