Such a great product! I was a little hesitant to buy it since it had no reviews and was tiny bit pricier than most of the other registers, but it’s well worth it! It’s so well made and has so many more features than I realized! The screen of the register is back lit and comes with other plastic “screens” to swap out with! The bottom scanner and hand scanner both work and beep when you scan! The register drawer is nice and even has a feature where if you put the coins in the back slot of the register, when you close the drawer it’ll pop out onto the change dish to the side of the register! The pin buttons also make sounds which is great and you can stick the debit card in and it beeps when it’s done processing! It’s previous and my 18 month old loves playing with it! I can’t say enough good about it! Definitely worth the price!

I bought this for my son who loves playing store. It is the most realistic that I’ve seen. The card machine is so cool. The money works and the coins are large enough that they don’t get lost like the smaller coins. It’s small enough to not take up too much room. It has lasted and performed well without even replacing the batteries since last Christmas!

It works well and can be used to teach different skills and different ages can use it. It is worth the money and is still working years later.

I searched EVERYWHERE for the perfect play cash register and this one had almost every feature I wanted. My daughter is 14 months old so there are some features she’ll grow into. We love: inserting the credit card and it makes sound, removing the credit card makes a sound, the credit card scanner beeps when you press buttons and lights up, the hand-held scanner lights up and beeps, one of the pads on the register beeps when you press it, the screen lights up, there are 3 different options for “stores”, when you put coins in one of the compartments in the cash drawer they come out the coin slot when you close the drawer. Our PERFECT register would have (but this one doesn’t): laminated play dollars because paper ones are going to last like 2 minutes so those are put aside until I can laminate them, a credit card swiper in addition to inserting instead of only inserting, more credit cards included or I think it would be really fun if real credit cards fit so that she could play with old cards or empty gift cards. I would also love it if it came with more screen options for stores- lemonade stand, sweet shop/bakery, etc. Overall though, we love this cash register and look forward to many more years of fun with it (unless my dream register becomes a reality).

The cash register is cute and very colorful, but if your kids had a different one that functioned differently this one will confuse them a bit. The credit card machine should come off the device, but still be attached like the scanner gun so they can hold it. My grandchildren were here at different times and each one tried to pull it off the device (not maliciously, just because they thought they could hold it). Also, the main screen just lights up to see the cute cards, but really not a good feature because the kids (ages : 2, 4 and 5) started pressing the buttons on the cards and were disappointed when nothing happened. Since the main screen doesn’t do anything, why have 3 cards that can get lost or bent-that’s not really practical; unless, you could place the two that weren’t in use in the cash register drawer, but you can’t.

I’ve been impressed with this little cash register. My 3.5yr old was constantly playing cashier and would pretend to scan things making a beeping noise like at the grocery store. This has definitely been one of her favorite toys from Christmas. Even my almost 6yr old likes to play with it a bit. The beeping noise can be made by pulling the trigger on the hand held scanner, or by pushing down on the big button on the base where a scanner would be in a store check out. I only wish the screen itself was more interactive or had buttons to push to keep her interest in another year or so. But overall, it’s the closest thing I could find for what I had in my mind. For people who have a lot of toys out in the main living area of the house in plain site, it looks cute setting out it’s nice to have the accessories self contained in the drawers.

I bought this for my 4yr old nephew and he loves it. Hours of fun playing shop with his older brother. It's a sturdy good sized toy. There are different cards depending on the type of shop play i.e, groceries, hardware or clothing, which slot into the checkout 'screen'. The hand held scanner beeps just like a real checkout too. Comes with pretend notes and big coins, and a small amount of plastic fruit and veg. I bought extra pretend food and a little basket too.
