Doesn't leave a slippery surface. Leather looks natural, not shiny like Mothers or Armor All. I like the scent which lasts for weeks.

Sn excellent Lexol replacement
Now that Lexol leather conditioner has been reformulated for the worse, this Griot’s Garage leather care is a good replacement. One of my cars is 30 years old and has semi-aniline ‘Nappa’ leather seats, the other is much newer and has the coated ‘Dakota’ leather common today. On Nappa leather, this product is absorbed well, keeps the leather pliable and soft, and with a gentle buffing, just moderately shiny. On coated Dakota leather, like any other leather care product, it isn’t really absorbed but does clean the surface coating and gives it a nice sheen. Used sparingly and buffed after drying, it doesn’t leave a sticky residue and will not leave your seats slick or slippery either. Quite a number of reviews here bemoan an unpleasant ‘chemical smell’, while an equal number say this product smells great. I’m with the ‘smells great’ crowd; but this is a highly subjective judgment. Some people love the taste of cilantro; some people loathe it. You’ll need to make up your own mind; but to me, this has the aroma of new leather. At under ten bucks for a 16 ounce container, it’s a bargain. This is easily enough to keep the seats on a pair of 2-door coupes nicely conditioned for a year.

Works great and smells good.
Works great and smells great. Only wish it was in a better container that could squeeze the product out better. Comes out in a glob given the opening is 1/2 inch hole. Otherwise it’s every bit as good as CG leather care product but half the price.
