Would it be possible to use 2 of these side by side for a large doorway?

well yeah but do you need 2 doors? If no, you can do what I did - I needed to block about a 15 ft wide hallway so I taped the door right in the middle then bought cheap 2-mil plastic to use as "walls" and taped sections of the plastic to the left & right of the door.

Is this plastic door good for kitchen remodel?

Yes!!! 100% Currently in a remodel that isn't going well thank goodness for these easy to install barriers. You can see through them, clean and reuse. They really do minimize the dust. They dont take care of the dust 100% but nothing does. You will NOT regret investing in these reusable barriers. Even our contractor was impressed. They come with everything you need to install.
