Replacement Drive Belt Compatible with Sunbeam Bread Maker Model 5891 (Replaces Part 5891-33) — Aftermarket Repair Belt

When my Sunbeam bread maker that was a gift from my mother from about 10 years ago quit mixing mid cycle, I was very sad. I love that thing. Anyhoo. As I was looking at new ones I wondered if I could fix mine. And the answer was yes. Yes I could fix it myself. So after carefully taking apart my machine I confirmed my suspicions that the belt had broken. I was so happy to find I could still order a belt for it. It came and fit perfectly! Now I am happily making bread and pizza dough again at a fraction of the cost of a new machine.

I did not like how much work is involved in finding the spindles that hold the existing belt. I do like the perfect fit and function of this belt. Once you remove all the screws, pull the basket, basket liner, remove those screws and finally get access to the under portion, it's a snap to put on. Not a beginner task. I am very pleased to have my breadmaker working like new again. The previous belt was down to a single strand of nylon with all of the rubber gone. We'll see how long this one lasts.

Was given a sunbeam breadmaker, brand new in box friend had bought on clearance in 2007. Worked great on making the first loaf but on checking during cycle it wasn't rotating the mixer bar anymore after dough had been all mixed together. Put in another batch days later and nothing moved, dumped ingredients in kitchenaid mixer and used the timeline in the owners manual to mix it with a dough hook and worked great by the way. Took bread maker apart (thank you youtube), not an easy feat. Belt had disintegrated. Ordered this one, got it and has worked great making a loaf every 3 days or so.

This was just what the bread machine need to come back to life. It is still going strong two years later. Since the Sunbeam 5891 is almost all analog, taking it apart to fix it is fairly easy. There are good videos to show you what to do.

Purchased this belt to fix my Sunbeam bread machine and so far, it has held up well. No signs of wearing out or breaking yet. Plus, I feel the price for it was very reasonable.

Fitted ok

Our sunbeam bread machine recently stopped working. My husband took it apart and found the belt shredded. We have had it for about 10 years so I cannot complain but we thought we would try ordering this part and repair before looking at a new machine. My husband was able to put this new belt on and the bread machine works as good as new. Definitely recommend.

Heavy Duty Drive Belt fitted the bread maker without dismantling the motor gear or drive gear. Belt fitted perfectly.
