Mixed 30 Rainbow Deluxe Tomato Seeds Mix 16 Varieties Heirloom Non-GMO

Bought these for the wife who is starting the green thumb thing. Planted these seeds a few months back and somehow ended up sprouting 42 individuals. 1 is struggling and may not make it through. Very impressed with the outcome so far and can't wait to see the final outcome. Location: San Diego

. They all came loose together in one packet so it’s possible to plant multiple multiples of the same one. I don’t think it’s likely that I would get 25 of the same plant if I had 16 different varieties in that little packet. But the germination rate was high, almost everybody sprouted. I just won’t know what single variety I got until they actually fruit. I know that these are not different varieties. UPDATE: in my original review, I thought that I had gotten just one variety based on the seeds and the seedlings that was back in April and now it’s September 1 and I can see that I have multiple varieties and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with this the germination rate was high. The only problem is all the seeds are mixed together in a single packet, but for the price I’m thinking it’s worth it.

Never developed. I believe too old. A waste of money. Very disappointing

Just a heads up not a single one germinated. Maybe a bad batch of seeds. UPDATE they all of a sudden popped up got a really good amount from the seeds.

At first, I, too, was a bit annoyed at the mixed seeds, but got over myself. I planted them in just regular potting soil in a cracker barrel plate size take out container. The bottom is black, the dome clear, in my sunny laundry room on top of my dryer, so the soil is warm. Every single seed sprouted in under a week. I just gentle dampen the soil with spray bottle. Also I put a few holes in the top for ventilation. I bought a second pack to give to a friend. I'm going to try planting them in a box ... watched a YT video. Our last frost is April 21st, so I'm planting in the ground a week after that. These are not hybrids, but you can save the seeds for next year and to share. Our church collects non gmo, non hybrid seeds for our missions in Africa. My son is 32 now, and the first seeds we sent was when he was two. The villagers are so thankful, and like my helpers little hands have grown into the strong hands of a fine man who still helps his now old mamma, I wonder how many little hands have grown into adults sowing seeds from plants we sent all those years ago. I wish I knew what was what. They sprouted, I actually bought 3 packs and these are the leftovers, the rest are outside. It’s frustrating because they come mixed and it’s easier to trellis properly if you know if it’s cherry tomatoes or a large beefsteak.

I purchased 2 pks one for myself and I sent the other to family. I am super happy full germination rate. They are heirloom and I don't use heat mats so it takes a bit longer but about 7 days. They are growing fast and are healthy. Am looking forward what varieties I have. As I have grown heirloom for years in south ga. Some do better than others. Will update along the way. You definitely should buy these.
