As my current expensive expanding hose sprung a leak at the join between the hose and metal ends I decided to just go for an inexpensive one that had the highest number of reviews (13k). This would have been fine if it had been a standard size but is actually as far as I can see US sizes so I would have had to buy extras that I understand are circa £7-£10. So to go back a bit - on receiving the hose I opened the box and could see that the tab opener had been opened several times, the bag it should have been in was at the bottom of the box , the hose was all tangled and although it didn’t seem to have been used one end was slightly stretched. I took it out to the back door and tried to attach it to the dual ended hose adaptor I use, there was no way it was going to fit. I then took the dual ended adaptor off and tried again directly to the tap, still no luck so back in the box it went to be returned. To be honest from the experience I have I know this hose would not have lasted being taken across my hard landscaping as the material was quite thin round the tubing.

I purchased this item last week and it all looks good but none of my spray guns can connect to it. I would like to buy a spray gun or suitable connector but the seller's website "ask a question" does not work/broken link!

Wish I had bought this earlier! I have a tiered vegetable garden and dragging the regular garden hose up and down steps and over retaining wall has become a drag. Finally bought this Flexi Hose and it is now a joy. This lightweight hose lets me get in between foliage and water at root level easily. So easy that I now take the hose back down and hang it up after each use. It was such a struggle with my old 50' hose that I used to just leave the hose in my tiered garden, which is a tripping hazard (my husband did trip last year and fell down to the lower level right through the pole bean trellis!). I did not measure if the hose really expanded 3x, but it definitely does expand significantly. I saw a couple of reviews complaining that the hose does not expand - I suspect that these users did not follow instructions properly or use common sense. You have to shut off the hose (at the end of the spray head) first then turn on the water. This is how the water pressure builds up to expand the hose. If you leave the shut-off open and the water freely flowing through, of course the hose won't expand! Duh! Do not expect water pressure to be the same as the rigid garden hose, as the diameter of the hose is narrower. First few uses leave the smell of latex on your hands - do not buy if you are allergic to latex. I love the Flexi Hose. I don't know what the longevity would be, but honestly if it only lasts just a season or two, I would continue to buy it and will continue to recommend it.

Ich selbst nutze diesen Gartenschlauch regelmäßig im Garten und bin bislang wirklich zufrieden. Der größte Vorteil ist ganz klar das Gewicht – im Vergleich zu einem klassischen Gummischlauch fühlt sich dieser echt federleicht an. Er dehnt sich bei Wasserdruck zuverlässig auf die volle Länge aus (bei uns 23 Meter) und zieht sich danach wieder kompakt zusammen. Dadurch lässt er sich super verstauen, ohne dass man ewig aufrollen muss oder Platz verschwendet. Auch das Versprechen, nicht zu knicken, wird größtenteils gehalten – beim Ziehen um Ecken bleibt der Durchfluss konstant. Die Verarbeitung macht ebenfalls einen guten Eindruck. Die Messinganschlüsse wirken robust und hochwertig, und bisher gab es weder Risse noch Undichtigkeiten. Die Haptik des Schlauchs ist angenehm, kein chemischer Geruch oder billiges Plastikgefühl. Langzeiterfahrung fehlt natürlich noch, aber aktuell erfüllt er alle Erwartungen. Wenn er nach einem Jahr noch genauso funktioniert wie jetzt, gibt’s von mir dann auch den vollen Daumen hoch!

Se maneja bien y tiene una buena calidad. Se echa de menos una pistola que permita graduar la presión a la que sale el agua, ya que no permite cambiar la que trae de serie, que resulta excesiva cuando se quiere regar macetas de pequeño o medio tamaño, pues lanza la tierra fuera de las mismas. Para el jardín, sin embargo, resulta deal y se guarda fácilmente al reducir su tamaño cuando se vacía de agua.
