Sprayed my wife’s running boards and works very well

TOTAL WASTE OF MY MONEY! I followed can-printed instructions before spraying. Barely spattered some paint for about 3 seconds. Tried again and got proper spray for about 3-seconds, then clogged again completely. I followed the can-printed instructions again but for this issue. When I removed the nozzle assembly, paint bubbled and spattered all around the opening and all over the can top AND all over my fingers. Tried phoning Seymour Technical assistance twice - no answer, but recordong kicked in and I left a message. I phoned Seymour Customer Service and they of course referred me to their Technical Assistance section. Waiting for a call back... This seems to be a CHRONIC issue with this spray coating. AVOID!!!

This product was exactly what I needed to ensure the. Step had a grip and not slippery when wet i am ordering another can for my front steps and ramp. Thank you!

I approached the manufacturer after attempting to coat/treat a slippery aluminum step stool. I tried 2 passes and stopped just to see how much product would be expelled. The coating did NOT leave any abrasive material on the surface! I tried to spray another coat but the nozzle had leaked material and would not spray anything because it dried rapidly and sealed the nozzle! I attempted to unclog the nozzle by turning the can upside down an attempting to clear the nozzle using the propellent only to clear whatever had clogged it but the nozzle would emit any propellant nor product! I also tried using inserting a small, needle-like device with no success! I had exceeded the Amazon return window by two days. However, I did approach the manufacturer for guidance to a cure! I asked for guidance, "assistance" to quote my input but the so-called customer service person not only didn't offer any cures for the problem but instead not only "kicked my questions to the curb" (didn't offer any cures) but told me in no uncertain terms that there would NO refund since I purchase this item from Amazon! So, to answer the questions below, 1. this product does not work! 2. Has NO durability: 3. The smell has an odor similar to lacquer thinner: And 4. It is NOT easy to use! The nozzle plugged up immediately! 5: the texture was as smooth as flat black paint could be, so, there apparently was no abrasive! And, there you have it! This is one the few items that I've bought from Amazon that not only was the manufacturer but the product was substandard. I will be approaching Amazon Customer Service to advise them of this problem, overall!

I got just enough out of the steps to spray my truck running boards one time, the can still felt nearly full. As others say it clogs up I'd recommend getting something else it's a good quality product but it just won't spray out of the can and don't think you're as well

Techs were very helpful. They indicated that the fumes are heavier than air, which helped me decide where to put ventilation when I applied this. This stuff works very very good, however, you must follow the instructions on the can exactly. How do you sis and buy this again in a heartbeat?

It actually works. And it's perfectly clear so you need to pay attention to where you're spraying so that you don't miss spots or overspray places. You need to put on 2 coats for the best grip. Overall, I'm happy with the results.

Use it all at once, after the first time the nozzle continues to clog, sputtering the spray everywhere. Waste of $$ for me.
