Well built light and assembly. Fairly lightweight and easy to install. I like how it connects to the main controller unit using the included connector cable. I will continue to purchase vivosun products as their system works well and is intelligent.

These lights work great. I used 50% light intensity during seedling and veg stage for my tomato plants and then switched to 75% when I went into Flowering stage for the first 4 weeks. Then after defoliating, I went to full 100% for the remainder of the flower cycle. The best bud set and tomatoes I have ever gotten!!

Works as advertised. Used the daisy chain function to add to my existing set up. Does raise the temp of my 4x4 tent quite a bit when running. Very simple to use. Directions were pretty straight forward. Has 4 levels of light 0%, 25%, 50%, and 100%.

Ok. I gave it a high rating because how its meant to be used... it does really well. But it unfortunately doesn't suit my needs today. It may in the future. But right now it is a regrettable purchase. One big note. You must where eye protection. Even on 25% this thing is very bright. Like I could (jokingly) probably illuminate my entire house on 25%. Including the basement. Pros: this thing does what it advertises and is crazy bright. Im not going to go into detail as you can read all the specs and yeah its great. Cons: the light appears to be designed to work with there grow tents. Which i do not have. I have a 5 rack wire shelf. I was hoping this light would work for one whole shelf thats the shelf I use for my tallest plants. It doesn't. The light out of the grow light will only illuminate one 10x20 tray. And it does so spectacularly. But it also absurdly expensive 1:1 tray. Now it might be that on brighter settings far enough away it might cover more trays. I just do not have the space for that kind of setup. I regularly have 16 trays. I would need 3-4x the space to use this. But in my setup, turning the light high enough to give outer plants enough light would cook anything directly under it. So for me this doesn't work. I am keeping it though. I may configure one zone for one that need more light or im sure ill find a future use. But right now its back in the box and shelved for the season.

This is my very first grow light so I have no means to of comparing it, however, it has shown to be an extremely powerful light. At the recommended height/brightness, it was killing my seedlings. I went through everything trying I could think of to figure out my problem and at a last ditch effort, I raised the VS2000 to the top of my five foot 2x4 grow tent and my plants have since flourished. I can't wait to see how the light does in flower at higher power! The only down side is the power connection to the driver. It's flimsy and a slight movement will cause the light to go off. I don't believe it will be an issue during any grow, especially as I will keep the light stationary at max height, but, it's there. It may just be an issue with my device and I don't believe it will pose any problem. But, if 99.9% reliability is a must, especially for a professional grower, this could pose an issue.

This very bright light has raised several beautiful, compact, and healthy plants. Gone are the days of light-starved leggy plants under CFLs. But this lamp also runs reasonably cool (you can put your hand on it briefly), so no heat like with sodium lamps. Being LED, it is relatively energy efficient to run. But the most important part is that my plants love it at all stages of life. They grow swiftly and in great health. The light even has a dimmer so that it does not harm tender seedlings, which is not unique but still is a helpful touch. 5 stars.

This thing makes all the difference. Grow lush plants with no excessive heat build up in your tent. Dimmable in 25% increments. I love this thing and so do my plants. 11/23 update- So far I’ve had several very successful harvests using these lights. I now have two of the small ones and one of each of the bigger ones. The 400w is on the way now. Good lighting is one of many things needed for a good crop. Do yourself a favor if you’re looking for lights, Spend the money upfront because it will pay off at harvest no matter what brand you use.

Everything just really fast with this light it’s unbelievable. I’m new to the plant game but this light seems to make it pretty easy.

Using this to keep our outdoor summer plants alive over a long and cold Canadian winter. Plants love it. Unit has been on 8 to 10 hours a day with no issues. Does generate heat, but keeps the plants nice and warm. Great product.
