Really nice cord for safety. It appears to be made very well with stitching and overall design. I feel confident that it will perform very well under a load. Size could be a little more generous but it functions very well. Tying a prusik knot is very easy and hold very well. I believe it's a lot of value for the money spent and a nice addition to my climbing / rappelling gear. Would certainly purchase this again.

Works very well. I bought it for an additional safety for my ropeman 1. On my tether as well as my lineman belt. We can never be too safe. I was saddle hunting before it was cool back around 2003. Saddles have changed a lot since then. Ascenders are mechanical and can break. Take an additional 10 seconds and attach another prusic.

Tested 2 after 6 months of use and they sheered at the stitching at 17.7kN & 17.4kN. These loops are rated at 20kN new. Both loops were bought at the same time. I'm going to buy a couple more and test them fresh out of the package and see what results I get and whether the 20kN rating stands up. Testing done with a Rock Exotica Enforcer and a ~98:1 manual haul system.

Good quality, stitching is done. Well, just what I was looking for.

We bought this for a basement hoisting job. It worked great, but was a little longer, we found, than we needed. If you're hoisting with your blocks close together, you might want a 13" prusik. We made it work, and it got the job done.

Decent prusik for the money. Full disclosure... I have not rappelled with it yet. Just bought it for an emergency decent/escape/rescue kit. It seems well made with good stitching. A prusik is not a primary brake mechanism in most cases, but more of a fail safe used as a backup to your belay device. I think this one is adequate for that purpose.

Fait son office pour assurer en tant qu'étrangleur une longe de maintien d'arboriste. J'utilisais la version 6 mm, jamais eu de soucis, néanmoins je préfère augmenter le diamètre afin de me sécuriser un peu plus. Ne pas utiliser pour la descente car la matière chauffe très rapidement en cas de forte friction, a ce moment préférez une cordelette en aramide.
