Question 1

what is the difference between brazilian wax and regular wax

Accepted Answer

Brazilian wax is a type of hard wax formulated to make removing coarser hair (such as bikini area) easier with less irritation to the skin. The first thing to decide when choosing a wax is if you want to use a hard wax or a strip wax. For me, I have coarse hair everywhere and my skin is sensitive to waxing so I find that hard wax works better for everywhere. I literally pulled the brown off my skin trying to use a strip wax on my arm so its either hard wax or shaving. Now, that covers the actual wax itself. If you are talking salon lingo, I believe the word Brazilian refers to what parts you want to be hairless. Brazilian usually means take it all off including between the cheeks. Each waxing experience is personal so feel free to ditch the lingo and just tell your aesthetician what you want! Hope this helps. You can also find a lot of info on GiGis website.

*Kit contains: 1 wax warmer with cover (14 ounce), 1 all-purpose honee (14 ounce),*1 pre hon (4 ounce), 1 pre epilation powder (25 ounce), 1 wax off (4 ounce), 1 slow grow (4 ounce),*10 petite applicators, 10 small accu edge applicators, 10 large accu edge applicators, 20 small natural muslin strips, 20 large natural muslin stripsthat is all the content for the regular one...*Kit contains:*1 Wax warmer*10 petite applicators*1 large accu-edge applicators*10 small accu-edge applicatorsthat is the only stuff that comes with the mini.I had a friend buy the mini and it is TOTALY worth buying the student starter kit!! I got a pre hon that cleans the area, powder so the wax doesn't pull your skin, wax remover, and an after cream to make your hair grow slowly and thin.
