While I do give 5 star ratings, I don't do it unless I believe the item is outstanding in form, fit, and function. This rating can apply to all kinds of things from water dispensers, to plastic bags, and even to adhesive tape. If I believe the manufacture has delivered a product that can meet my expectations, (as picky as I am), and that product actually makes me happy I purchased it, then it deserves a 5 star rating in my book. That said, this is an excellent phone mount! It's very easy to use, mounts quickly to the phone, appears sturdy in construction, feels exceptionally smooth in operation, and is just a dang pleasure to use! I have absolutely no fear that this phone mount will not hold on to my expensive S22 Ultra! This thing is solid! The clamping jaws are angled down/inward so when closed around the phone, (or case), the phone is held securely and won't slide out. The jaws have rubber pads that are (in my opinion) just the right hardness that the phone is well padded and held gently and securely with no slippage. All movements on the mount are very smooth and positive with no looseness or rattling anywhere. The knob and angle locking clamp are smooth and positive locking. Very nice! What I like most about it is that to lock the phone in you don't need to use excessive force. The spring tension of the device is enough to compress the rubber pads around the phone, and then you just lock the knob down and you're done. Very little force is also needed on the portrait/landscape angle locking lever. Basically, you push the lever back until it stops and the lock is sufficient. This is a good thing because the angle locking lever is quite small in stature... too much pressure on it and it seems you could possibly break it. I wrote a review on the Ulanzi ST-03 which I compared to this Armarkok. Without saying all the same things here, you can read what I thought about the Ulanzi in that review. Suffice to say the Armarkok win's hands down! Lastly, this review is written using a Samsung S22 Ultra with a Spigen Clear case on it. Phone fit is very good in this mount. I can't speak for other phones so you'll just have to try it.. As for the Arca Swiss plate fit... I do believe the plate is on the small side as 1 reviewer has stated, however, I personally have no fit or locking issues using any of my tripods (3) or spare plates (2). 5 stars!

Wonderful and easy to use and add this to my 5 foot tripod. Keeps my phone stable and was easy to mount with the plain old regular screw on my tripod. Super easy to also swivel and position it however you need it to go. Have used this to film a bunch of YT content already.

Pros: This is a quality built product and has a good weight to it. The metal is not cheap feeling. I like how there are two locking features. One for the clamp on your phone and the other is for the angle / orientation of your phone. The locking features don't slip and I can tell the threads will hold. There are many spots to thread in accessories and there are two different sized threads on the base which open up the possibilities on where you can mount this. You can mount this facing the ground and sky as well. This is very easy to use and has a cold shoe to add other accessories like a wireless, mic, light, or even additional camera like a GoPro. Cons: I wish the branding were more understated on this. (I'm a designer and the type on their logo drives me crazy.) The only other room for improvement I can think of here is that It would have been nice to add a couple of small circular bubble levels so that I can tell when my phone is perfectly level in portrait or landscape mode. Yes, I could just use the level app on my phone but it's one more things to do. This obviously isn't a dealbreaker but it would have added some value. Bottom Line: This is far higher in quality than others options I have tried. In the past, I have purchased plastic options and variant that I thought would be quicker to unmount/mount but they all limited the functionality of the tool. This mount could take a beating and be fine. It's well built and I feel good about it being all metal. If i lost this or it was stolen I would purchase another one with no hesitations. I can't believe I waiting this long to purchase this and have resorted to using my DSLR to capture what my iPhone could have because I didn't have this available. All that to say - no regrets.

Sometimes you spend less on things that you don't think deserve to spend too much on. If that makes sense... Well I DJ for a living & figured that since I stream my sets 3 times a week, that I should spend more than 7 bucks on a piece of hardware that I use a lot. The point is.... You should spend more. It's important. Very important. This thing is fantastic... So many positioning options, feels amazing in hand, looks good (for people who care) & functions perfectly. Been using it for 5 or so months & couldn't be happier.

Love that it's not plastic! A few reviews mentioned the spring loaded mechanism which holds the phone in place. It's really not hard to use. If your fingers aren't the strongest... and your phone has a cover, simply use the phone to gently pry the mechanism wide enough to fit the phone. Once you tighten the screw on the mechanism, you will never have to deal with it again. (Well until you get a bigger phone) I'm not using this holder with any extra attachments so can't speak about that, but for a basic but very well made phone holder for a tripod this is a good deal.

I needed a way to secure my wireless Rode Go mic to my iPhone and soon be able to attach an external SSD to the outside of my iPhone 15pro. Admittedly I ordered a custom case designed for the things I need but that’s $160 and still on hold… until then I feel this small piece of kit along with my very fat protective case from MyBAT and an old Ulanzi metal handle I had laying around will certainly get the job done. The best features of this adapter are the addition of 1/4 holes and the included cold shoe… great purchase

This bracket is very solid, and grips the phone properly, with easily adjustable pressure and a lock to ensure it stays put. Very happy with this purchase, even if it was a bit pricey -- but they say "you get what you pay for."

I have a car YouTube Channel and was getting frustrated with my flimsy 15$ plastic phone holder. I mean it worked well for filming with a tripod, but it was just not rigid enough for in-car footage and vibrated all the time while driving. This one seems much much more rigid. It feels more expensive than it is and I can't wait to try it.

Personalmente sono molto soddisfatto di questo supporto. L'ho scoperto per caso guardando una recensione su YouTube. I materiali sono ottimi e si nota subito la differenza con i supporti che generalmente si trovano per il cellulare. È assemblato benissimo e una volta serrato lo smartphone (anche di grandi dimensioni) resterà letteralmente incollato senza che vi siano giochi o cedimenti. Pesa 104 grammi, l'ho pesato personalmente su un bilancino elettronico. Una volta che si svita la rotellona posteriore si allenta il meccanismo che comanda il serraggio delle due 'protuberanze' che ancorano lo smartphone al supporto. Quando si allarga questo alloggiamento si sente che ci sono delle molle di qualità, perché oppongono una bella resistenza. Inserito il cellulare, che resterà bello saldo già così per via della forza esercitata dalle molle e anche dai gommini antiscivolo presenti sia nel braccio superiore che inferiore, basta ruotare di nuovo la rotella posteriore e questo bloccherà il meccanismo in modo che non si possa aprire accidentalmente. Poi c'è una linguetta/leva, anche questa di metallo (come tutta la struttura del supporto) che comanda invece la rotazione dello smartphone, per riprese sia in orizzontale che verticale. Nella base è ricavato un attacco Arca Swiss dove si trovano due fori, uno da 1/4 e l'altro da 3/8. In pratica lo si può agganciare a qualsiasi treppiede, monopiede o altro supporto esistente senza dotarsi di adattotori. Dulcis in fundo nella struttura posteriore sono ricavati dei fori filettati da 1/4 così da poter attaccare direttamente su questo supporto (tramite un mini magic arm o qualsiasi altro accessorio) un faretto LED o un microfono. Se proprio dovessi introdurre una miglioria aggiungerei un foro filettato da 1/4 anche all'estremità del braccio superiore dove è già presente un comodo alloggiamento cold shoe. Posizione rialzata che soprattutto per un faretto LED sarebbe ancora più pratica, ma è solo un mio gusto personale...se si ha necessità di tenere un eventuale faretto in posizione più rialzata rispetto allo smartphone basta prendere un magic arm della lunghezza giusta. In conclusione, per qualità dei materiali e funzionalità credo che al momento sia il miglior supporto di questo tipo in commercio. Straconsigliato, dai professionisti in giù.
