Fine and Functional
I've been using the Kitchen Ultra-Fine Nylon Mesh Strainer mainly for my fermenting projects, like filtering kefir grains and ginger bug, and it's been pretty effective. The fineness of the mesh is perfect for these tasks, ensuring that even the smallest particles are caught while letting the liquid pass through smoothly. However, there's a slight challenge when it comes to retrieving all the grains sometimes, as they can get caught in the mesh due to its ultra-fine nature. Despite this minor hiccup, I appreciate its quality and effectiveness so much that I'm considering getting a larger version of this strainer for filtering broths. Its performance has made it a valued tool in my kitchen, especially for specialized tasks that require a delicate touch.

Amazing
"This food strainer has become indispensable in my kitchen. Its fine mesh effectively strains out seeds and pulp from sauces, soups, and juices, leaving behind smooth and velvety textures. The sturdy handle and rim make it easy to rest securely on pots or bowls, preventing spills and messes. Cleaning is a breeze thanks to its dishwasher-safe design. Whether I’m making fresh tomato sauce or clarifying broth, this strainer ensures consistent results every time. It’s durable, efficient, and a must-have for any cooking enthusiast."

Ultra-Fine Nylon Mesh Strainers
I bought these to filter fruit juices for cocktails as well as for filtering tinctures. They seem to work fairly well but you definitely need to strain through coarser filters first as these ones are very fine and will clog quickly. One complaint, the filters would be better if they had some kind of identifying label to show the mesh size on each filter. Mine only came with a sticker on the bag/wrapper but they're not really durable enough to reuse, so once they're out of the bags it's difficult to tell which filter is which.

Superior Product!
When I found these, I was certain they wouldn’t be sufficient and would tear/rip/ fall apart; after the first use. I’m glad to say that I was wrong. I had to re-strain some juice that had A LIT of the peel left in it; this product held up as I mashed ( gently ) the juice into the fiber. I was greatly surprised at the amount leftover; enough to put into a small ziplock bag. The cleanup was simple, I placed it into warm soapy water, shook it to dislodge any trapped particles, rinsed it and placed it on a towel to dry…Easy peezy! This is a fantastic item for anyone who makes their own juices, tea ( from herbs ), or any other job that requires straining of the liquid. Great product, would definitely recommend to anyone. I did purchase the pack of three ( 3 ).

Works for straining spices from sauces
I used these to strain red pepper flakes and other spicy ingredients from an orange sauce I use. I set up the strainers to filter using gravity. The 100 mesh version let too many spices through. The 200 mesh version was much better but still let a few small particles in. The 400 mesh version was so tight that I had to use a spoon to mash the sauce through. It took a long time to filter the sauce with the 400 mesh version, but there were no floating spices in the sauce. The first picture is the result after using the 200 mesh version and the second picture is after using the 400 mesh version.

Not for kefir, IMO
The weave is too tight for kefir, I think. You have to use a spatula and drag the grains back and forth to get the liquid to drain. Then the grains get stuck in the folds. Also, it pops apart pretty easily and is not that easy to get the fabric situated back into the frame. I’m gonna buy something else. Not worth returning.

Ultra fine nylon strainer set
I purchased these for straining Kefir and they were not a good choice for using for the kefir process. They’re nice strainers but are too fine meshed for using to strain thicker products. They will be good for other kitchen uses though. Not a total waste of money. Amazon showed these as what people purchase to use for Kifer fermentation. I’m new to making homemade kifer so I went with the Amazon recommendation and it was somewhat misleading.

One of the sizes wasn't sealed
I ordered these because I make oat milk and ghee. I have metal ones that I have been using paper towels in to achieve a finer strain. I was disappointed that the 200 was not made correctly and part of the mesh had not been sealed. These were so inexpensive it didn't make sense to try to return them for another set. The ones that were made properly work well.
