Elegant, sturdy tape dispenser — great quality but takes up space if you don’t use tape often
I actually find this tape dispenser quite elegant for such a basic item. It has a nice, clean look and it’s heavy enough to stay firmly in place when you pull the tape — which is exactly what you want from a dispenser. That said, unless you use tape very frequently, it does end up taking more desk space than it’s worth. It’s definitely better suited for someone who needs a tape dispenser on a daily basis. The price is great, especially considering it’s from Scotch (the brand), so you know the quality is reliable. I don’t regret buying it, but I don’t really use it anymore since I don’t need tape very often now. Final verdict: Stylish, stable, inexpensive, and does the job perfectly — just make sure you actually need a full-size tape dispenser, because it takes a bit of space.

Hefty! Allows for one hand operation!
Nice and hefty! Heavy enough to allow you to tear off strips of tape using just one hand. I should have bought this years ago! Works great!

Great dispenser
Nice new sleek design. Of corse the other one I had was probably 40 yrs old - the glue holding the cover on the bottom holding the sand (or whatever) came off so I had stuff everywhere! Definitely needed a new one! This seems as well or better made. Does not include tape - which it does state. Very happy

Tape dispenser for home office
I love this tape dispenser. Works great and easy to use for home office. Durable, cuts easy and very affordable. Holds a big roll of tape. I love the color and will not show dirt.

Great tape dispenser, but tape not included even though it says it does
If you ever used the Scotch brand tape dispenser you know how would it feels. It has rubber footing on the bottom to prevent it from moving and heavy enough to pull the tape with one hand without it moving. It is very solid and easy to use. It shows that it comes with one roll of tape, but it did not. It wasn't a big deal to me because I had extra but just heads up if you are planning to order this thinking you are good to go. You need to order the tape as well.

Great desk item!
I bought it for holding refills to use during Christmas wrapping paper. It works great and is now a permanent desk item.

Good Product
This has always been a good standby. Replaced a nearly 20-yr. old tape dispenser with this updated version... nice improvement for the tape holder itself. However, how cheap can Scott get? They didn't even include a roll of tape with this dispenser! LOL!
