Pleasantly surprised
Took a chance with this lantern holder, wasn't sure what to expect. Works great. Highly portable but could be used permanently in a backyard. Very inexpensive so it's not the most sturdy, but I wouldn't call it flimsy either. Does the job.

Fairly well made. It is shorter than I thought it would be but I should have read the description better. I have it attached to my griddle table with a lantern hanging from its included hook and works great.

Do not waste your money
Though the product look very promising it was all but that. It broke on our camping trip to Joshua tree. Very weak and flimsy not at all the height explained in the description.

Exactly what I was expecting, perfect!
I like to research things before I buy them. This lantern hook made me nervous, many reviews were calling it flimsy. This thing is great. It is exactly what I was looking for and its exactly what I expected. If properly used I expect this item to last many years. Its very sturdy and plenty strong enough to hold small to medium size electric lanterns. The only part im not impressed with is the clamp. The tolerances and the threading are not the best, dont expect smooth threads. That being said the clamp works just fine, it clamps down reliably and there is zero wobble. This is the perfect setup for using a small lantern with a small table.
