Women's Greenwald Crossbody Bag

I have the satchel version with the pom and it’s been going strong for 3years now. I wanted something a bit simpler and bigger for my date nights and certain outfits. This is perfect! The black is sleek and seems to be easy to wipe (my matte black satchel was/is so this one I can tell will be even better), the red interior was a striking and pleasant surprise, the chain is heavy and sturdy and slips through the upper grommets with ease, and it has so many little spaces to store your things. I LOVE it!! I found myself squealing and gushing after receiving it and I have a huge purse collection with a range of prices… this bag isn’t too expensive but looks and feels it and I am not disappointed with my purchase at all!! Buy this purse!!

Loved it .. but it is verrry heavy

I loved this one the second I saw it! It arrived with all the tags, and packaged neatly. This is a brand new bag. However I had an "accident" with the inside stitched tags. There were so many in a bundle and I wanted to take them off. Thought they would be easy to pull off but managed to damage it inside a bit. The stitching and lining are not that great (this is not a counterfeit as I checked this bag in-store) My fault I know! But I discovered that the sturdiness that comes from this bag is from cardboard! I thought in my ideal world it would be of a better material, and was disappointed due the amount I paid for this bag. If you have any romantic notions of dancing under the rain with this bag or just plainly cover your head with it and dash to your car in a downpour just DONT. Not worth seeing this nice bag getting all soggy because of the cheap cardboard. Also, the chain is nice and all, and I have read lots of complaints about other models and how the chain is so weightless that it feel cheap or plasticky You wont be disappointed with this one. It weights so much, that you can knock out someone just by throwing this bag to them. This bag is just for you to look pretty and not going out doing any errands in fashion. Its too heavy you will end up with back/shoulder pain. Its weight is a big no-no for international purchases as I know they charge you for weight too, so consider other options instead of this bag.

This purse is gorgeous!!! It looks so expensive and it’s just utterly stunning in person. This bag is really sturdy and extremely heavy. This is not the purse to carry around all day at a theme park or a festival, trust me. It’s probably the heaviest purse I’ve ever owned, but it soooo pretty I don’t care. It’s very stiff so it’s going to keep its shape. It’s deceiving a bit because it looks large, but the interior is rather slim in comparison. It has two main compartments, a zip compartment on the back wall and two slots on the front wall. I have an iPhone 8 Plus and I can’t have my phone in either of those slots because it’s too tall and the flap won’t close. The chain is very heavy duty and can get twisted if you’re not careful. It takes a bit of getting used to. My main issue is that the magnetic closure isn’t very strong and you have to be right on the money with the snap otherwise it will not stay closed. Even then it pops up a lot. I don’t know if mine is defective, But I might have to exchange it which I really dont want to do. I love the length of the chain. I’m the kind of person that likes my bags to hang a bit lower, but if you like your bag to hit at the waist, this isn’t going to be the bag for you. On me it falls just below my hip bone (I’m 5’6). All in all, it’s a stuuuunnning bag and I’m so glad I bought it. I’m going to absolutely grab a few more colors. For the price, it’s kind of a steal. It looks so luxe. It’s one of the nicest bags I have at this price point. Highly recommend.

I was pleasant.yl surprised to find that this bag is actually kind of heavy for what I expected, as it shows the quality of the hardware (so often this stuff can be kinda flimsy, but not with this bag). It is also very well structured, and the angled quilt-style stitching is even and very good quality. I got mine on a surprise lightning deal for 21.99, and I almost feel like I stole it! The beige color is pretty much seasonless, and the chain bling isn't ostentatious. The medium size is very roomy, and will expand to comfortably hold everything I usually carry, with room to spare. I looks dressy enough to carry as a clutch but looks great as a shoulder bag/crossbody. I'd like to have this in more than one color--the black on black looks enticing, or maybe one of the tweed options. The vegan leather feels great. I don't know why several buyers complained about the "noise"--it's a nice bag, and chains do clink. Seems like a minor complaint to me. I'll be pairing this with some of my holiday outfits. Cheers!

First, I'm all about quality purses. My purse collection consists of ONLY Louis Vuitton. So, I wear my LV bags on a daily except when it's raining. I was looking for a simple crossbody bag so I googled and came across the Aldo Greenwald but on a different merchant website. I placed an order on their website and I assume it was out of stock because it was canceled twice. So, I did a search and amazon had it for $20 cheaper. I decided to purchase it through Amazon and it was delivered the same day and within a few hours. The bag is gorgeous but simple. I'm actually wearing it more than my LV bags because they're on the bigger side and the Greenwald is more convenient. A lot of reviewers are complaining about the chain being heavy, but it doesn't feel heavy to me. My only semi complaint is that I think the chain could be longer. I'm 5'7 and it sits a directly on the waist. It doesn't look or feel cheap. I've received multiple compliments on the bag. It reminds be of the Tory Burch Fleming purse that I've been eyeing, but I didn't want to invest $600 on a contemporary designer bag, as their lifetime warranty isn't compatible to luxury designer warranties such as LV. So, this is a great dupe for the Fleming if you're eyeing that bag as well. Overall, it's a nice quality bag for the price point of $55.

I ordered the white purse with the black chains. It's a little edgy, and looks far better than most purses in its price range. Given its style, I can take it anywhere: casual lunch, date night, concert...possibilities are endless. UPDATE: I downgraded my rating because the snap that holds the purse together is a terrible design. It broke after less than a month. I should have heeded the bad reviews of this product because a lot of them mention the same problem. Usually, a snap only has two parts: the "male" and "female". This snap has three parts. First, there are two "male" parts -- one on the flap, and one on the purse itself. Lastly, there is a doughnut-shaped magnet that is "female" on both sides that holds the clasp together. The magnet is attached to the purse -- badly. The magnet has four small tabs on the bottom that are supposed to anchor it to the purse. Those tabs are too weak to withstand repeated opening and closing -- you know, the thing you do with a purse ALL THE TIME. In my case, the magnet detached yesterday morning. It was stuck to the flap for the rest of the day. I should have saved the magnet in a safe place, then attached it to the flap with gorilla glue. I didn't. the magnet fell off somewhere between my house and car. (See photo of remaining "male" parts of the snap.) It's a nice purse otherwise. It's a shame that a non-working clasp means it can't function as one.
