Easy Setup, Works Well
I set this device up 75 ft from my router at the far edge of my house and had no issues picking up my internet. The device I have hooked up to the extender is a smart TV another 75 feet away in a metal building and I am able to streams with no major issues. Pros: Easy setup. Cheap. Works well (great for the price). Can be setup without an app! huge plus because I get tired of having apps on my phone I never use. It can be setup vis app, wps, or browser. Cons: Internet speed fluctuates more than normal. I occasionally hit slow spots but never full disconnect.

Perfect for my home!
This TP-Link extender was incredibly easy to set up and made an immediate difference in my home’s Wi-Fi coverage. The instructions were straightforward, and within just a few minutes I had it connected and running. Before installing it, we had several areas of the house where the signal was weak or would drop completely. After adding this extender, the connection is stable and fast even in the rooms that used to be dead zones. Streaming, video calls, and everyday browsing all work smoothly now. I also appreciate how compact and unobtrusive the device is, it plugs in neatly and doesn’t take up much space. Overall, this has been a reliable and affordable way to improve our home network. Highly recommend it to anyone needing better Wi-Fi coverage.

Money well Spent
I’ve been very impressed with this TP-Link product. The setup process was quick and straightforward. I was able to get everything up and running within minutes. The app is user-friendly and makes managing the network simple and convenient. I can also block users I dont want to access, only with I would be able to rename the devices to make it easier. Most devices just show up as anonymous. Other than that, performance has been consistently strong and reliable. The signal strength significantly improved coverage throughout my home, eliminating dead zones that I previously struggled with. Speeds are stable, even with multiple devices connected at the same time, which is important for streaming, working from home, and everyday use. I also appreciate the build quality and clean design — it blends in well without being bulky or distracting. Overall, this product delivers excellent value for the price and performs just as advertised. Looking forward to buying an additional one for our RV for our camping trips. I would definitely recommend TP-Link to anyone looking for dependable networking equipment without overspending.

Helped my Ring doorbells!!
Great product. What people should know is it's a SEPARATE network than your regular wifi. It will have an EXT at the end of the network name. If you have devices with weak signals that you want strengthened, you will need to reconnect devices to that network. If you can read and follow directions, setup is very easy and also completely wireless. Just create a tether account (that's the app the extender uses) and follow the on screen steps. This product strengthened the signal for my ring doorbell cameras and I'm super happy with it!

Highly Recommend
Perfection. Using it as a SECOND extender on a daisy chain (multiple extenders where only first one connects to Router then extender2 connects to extender1) i have a series of metal buildings so house 1 has the router next to a window and building 2 has extender mounted on top and house 2 has this extender in a window. I only have 50mbs service but I have 26mbs at end of 2 extenders using this unit. Anyway the setup instructions were very good. Useful tutorial videos and instructions. Set up in about 10 minutes. Only been in use 3 days but have shut off power multiple times and it auto resets perfectly without having to touch a thing. Can’t speak on longevity but initial results are absolute perfection in every way. Ease of setup, auto restart after power loss, and great output signal. Real person not a bot and Highly Recommend.

Inexpensive, great working wifi extender
A cheaper way to increase your wireless range. It is very easy to install using the teether app and does a good job of extending both wifi bands. I have owned a similar one and had such a good experience, I now am adding another.

Decent budget fix, but don't expect miracles (or full speed)
picked this up because it was highly rated by Engadget as a top budget pick for 2023, and for the price, it’s a solid "good enough" solution. However, there are some trade-offs you should know about before buying. The Good Simple Setup: The Tether App is actually great. I had it synced with my router in about 5 minutes. Design: It’s compact and doesn’t block the second outlet, which is a huge plus in a hallway. Fills the Dead Zone: It successfully got a signal into my back bedroom where the Wi-Fi used to drop completely. My smart speaker and laptop now stay connected without issues. The Not-So-Good Major Speed Drop: While the box says 1.2Gbps, keep in mind that's a theoretical combined speed. In reality, my download speeds dropped by about 50-60% when connected through the extender compared to being near the main router. It’s fine for 1080p streaming, but 4K or heavy gaming might struggle. Range is Optimistic: The "1500 sq. ft." claim feels like it applies to an open field. Through two standard walls, the signal strength drops significantly. Occasional Drops: About once a week, I have to unplug it and plug it back in because the 5GHz band just disappears. Final Verdict If you just need to get basic internet to a "dead" corner of your house for scrolling or emails, this is an absolute bargain. But if you’re looking for high-performance gaming or have a very large home with thick walls, you’re better off investing in a true Mesh system.

Good Mesh Addition, Easy to Use, Drop in Download Speeds on LAN
The setup through OneMesh was flawless. I do wish the drop in speeds was not so drastic. Pulling down 175 through WiFi, and around 80 with the LAN. But it is stable and works as it should. I would recommend it if you need a LAN or just to increase your Mesh.
