Our son bought us a Keurig Coffeemaker over a year ago. He came to visit and was appalled that we hadn't cleaned it and said this was the stuff to get so we did. I know that those water taps in the door on your refrigerator get nasty, but it somehow never translated to keeping an eye on the keurig. This stuff really worked. Live and learn.

The Keurig Water Filter Refill Cartridges are a better & more expensive option than the no name ones on the market but the quality has definitely gone down. I purchased other ones and had to return since they water was gray! Got these at almost double the cost, and after 7 runs through the coffee pot ( see photo) this was still coming out! Followed instructions to a T! Not sure what is happening to the quality of these filters but you never had to do this before with them. Simply soak in water for the allotted time, shake & add to the filter holder & it was ready to go. All this sediment still coming through is not good. I use a regular drip coffee maker on some days & I am seriously thinking about going back to that on a full time basis after this. Easy to use & set up, but is all the costs worth it anymore between the filters, worrying about is sediment from the filters now & MY water getting ion my coffee, plus the costs of the pods....it just seems a bit much anymore. At least I know with my good old fashioned coffee filters nothing is getting in my finished cup. Filter thickness has gotten much thinner is what I attribute this to. Can't cut quality, raise prices and expect same results...obviously it's not working. So, do I recommend? Over the other ones? Absolutely.....

I have been using these Keurig water filters in my Keurig machine, as recommended by the manufacturer for the last 4 years. It helps keep my machine running smoothly. I can't comment on the effect of the taste on the coffee as I have never not used it. The filter is easy to condition and install. The filter life in my machine tends to be 2 - 3 months. Fits in the filter holder as expected. I find the price a little cheaper on line than in store shopping, for the brand name. The Keurig brand filters are perfect. I prefer them to the no name brands. They're a better fit in the water filter and I find there is less carbon residue when conditioning the filter. I also like the fact that they are individually packaged, in a cardboard box, for easy storage. They are my go to filters.
