Great filter and customer service!
So far so good! The water in my pool looks crystal clear. During installation, I noticed that the female thread in the high flow relief valve was damaged and wouldn't allow the pressure gauge to screw in correctly. I contacted the seller who promptly sent me a new relief valve as well as a pressure gauge. 5 stars for excellent and responsive customer service and a good working filter!

Manf packaging probably not designed for door delivery, but i for mine!
Good price, good quality. Manf packaging sort of sucks, not meant for this type of shipping, other places wanted to ship freight. I got this one from ups, box was beat to hell but everything was in there, so I'm happy.

Crystal clear water, easy to clean
Changed from a DE filter, never again. No more DE in my pool, and water is crystal clear. Used with pre-filter and pool is so clear!!

Unacceptable
Product & packaging was delivered damaged and all of the hardware and stickers are missing. Box arrived open and chunks of the box were missing. Completely unacceptable for such an expensive product.

Direct replacement for 25 year old Pentair
Direct replacement for my 25 year old Pentair Clean & Clear. Better design on the clamp / band than original

I recommend this filter
Easy install and it works great. They say clean every 6 months but I clean them every three months with a hose and it takes half the time to clean them. Don't need a pool guy anymore.

Warranty is no good if you do not buy from a dealer
Registered product. Pentair only warrants products purchased from and installed by professional licensed dealers. Otherwise the install was easy wilt no problems. Same unit I have been servicing as a homeowner for 15 + years. As you can see the warranty ( 1 year ) is outrageously expensive. My last Pentair product!

Pentair needs a better box that doesn't split open
Filter arrived in a pretty beat up - falling apart box. Fortunately, the only damage found is one filter cartridge. Trying to get just the one damaged filter cartridge replaced. (Not sure how well that will go..)
