Perfect for the office
This is the 2nd exact keyboard I have bought of this. I type so much I wear the letters off the keys. I dont mind not seeing the letters, but if anyone needs to borrow my computer they dont like it. 10 stars perfect keyboard. Will always keep buying this same one.

Misplaced The Handbook Took
Misplaced the handbook and struggled to find how to power off/ sleep the combo until I stumbled upon a random forum called "whirlpool.net". So the tab beneath the mouse that doesn't switch like your typical switch is for the USB dongle. You unplug it and the dongle snaps into the mouse. Still very early but other than that, I have had no issues with the design or operation of the combo.

Smooth keys and mouse
Nice steady wireless connection with my Pro 8 tablet, even when I have a external 27" 4K UHD monitor connected to the other USB C port. Only fault is no light for caps lock and number lock. Why Microsoft decided these were unnecessary is beyond my understanding. Today's passwords require mixtures of lower and upper case letters, numbers and symbols. Would be great to know what I'm entering as most have hidden (bullet points). You can't see what is typed in. Some don't show keystrokes as you enter them. Return the lights, Microsoft!

That mouse
The mouse is just hot garbage. It will lag for several minutes before working well for 10 15 minutes then it does it again. Unusable...at tried multiple ports and batteries then looked up reviews. I'm not the problem

Wireless keyboard/mouse
The wireless Microsoft keyboard is flawless, but the mouse is jerky and all over the place creating difficulty with maneuvering for appropriate spot to click/engage; have run troubleshooting to tackle the issue without finding a solution to repair. My review: keyboard- great; mouse- thumbs down.

This is a really nice set, it's my daily driver at the office. The keyboard is comfortable to use all day, it has some good shortcut keys, it's nice and quiet, and I've never had any connectivity or input issues. The single USB for keyboard and mouse is nice but i use a separate mouse anyways so it doesn't really matter to me. I tend to really like the Microsoft keyboards for work but at the price point i'm sure there are a lot of good options. Definitely not ideal for gaming though, go for a mechanical keyboard if that's what you want to use it for.

I'm very picky about keyboard and bought about 10 before settling on this one. This one is just like old keyboards, which I'm used to. I thought I might have to pick a different mouse as I tend not to like the ones that come with keyboards, being very basic and small, but this one is nice and big and has a super nice feel in the hand. I'm in love!

I really like MS hardware (more than the software) so I was just choosing this keyboard blindly almost with a trust in the manufacturer. Unfortunately the function keys are just not right on this keyboard. I don't understand why the need to put symbols on them and downsize to half. Maybe it is good for someone, for me this is a major fault. The other thing that I regret to not choose a different keyboard is the lack of keyboard lighting, but it is my fault. No charging of batteries, but it is only a nice-to-have thing, I hope the batteries will last long. The other problem the BT3 receiver, I was surprised that it needs additional dongle and it is not connecting directly to the notebook's BT. Even better that I read after my purchase that if i loose the dongle, there is no simple replacement as it is paired with only this keyboards. So no multi device controlling from the mouse/keyboard, you will need to carry the BT dongle too... The basics are good, so for me it is comfortable to type on the keyboard, and the mouse is proper weight/size.

This is my second time getting this keyboard and mouse combo. The first time I received it as a gift, and I loved it so much that I bought it for myself when the first one (the mouse) died on me. I really like that the mouse is big and my whole hand can rest on it, the keyboard has a palm rest as well. I love that the mouse can be for right-handed or left-handed people. There's also indicators on the keyboard and mouse when the battery is low, but the only downside is there is no indicator if Caps Lock is on (which isn't a huge deal, once you start typing, you would know if it's on or not). If the mouse holds up this time around, I would definitely be getting this combo again if I need to. Let's just hope the mouse lives longer this time around!!
