Good security key but no instructions
The keys are good and work very well. However, they do not come with instructions and the Identiv website is not very helpful. Having used Yubico security keys I knew what I wanted and was able to find Mac drivers that were necessary to enable these to work on my iMac. Also, I was able to find a beta utility for the Utrust keys that enabled me to add a FIDO password. If I had not been aware of this step I would never have known from the product packaging. These Identiv keys appear to be targeted at commercial and government use, probably the reason for lack of consumer documentation. Given this, and the fact they are made in the US, I’m guessing they are high quality products. Build quality seems about as good as YubiKey despite being slightly larger and having a plastic loop for a keychain.

Great as a secondary key
I have a sturdier key with more connectivity, but needed a second key in case I lose that one. This key is much slimmer, which can be good or bad, depending what you use it for. It's less durable, but it also slots in well in my minimalist wallet. Overall it works very well, both the NFC scanning and the touch confirmation. One potentially bad aspect though is it seems to physically fit in a USB A port either way you turn it, but only powers one way. I imagine this could break something if you're not careful when inserting it.

Misleading Product Title
The title and description claim this device supports PIV and TOTP, but that is not true for this model. Only the NFC+ version actually includes those features. This standard model does not provide full PIV or TOTP functionality. If you need PIV and TOTP, make sure you specifically buy the NFC+ model. The current listing is misleading and should be corrected to avoid confusion for other buyers.

Great Idea , Poor Implementation
A+ for the theory behind this , F for implementation. I have found this to not be useful for the average Joe. I struggle to find places that even support this . I have had issues with the NFC reader on my phone ; and Im not sure where to point the figure. None of this is straight forward and you will struggle to even use it . But I got one .

Good value for cheap/backup key, but manufacturer needs to more clearly state what it supports
This key comes at a good value if you just want a backup key for FIDO2/U2F use cases. However, it does not support Windows login, nor does it support ed25519-sk SSH keys. It does support ecdsa-sk SSH keys, although ed25519 is generally considered superior to ECDSA, so it is nonsensical that they have not updated the firmware to support both at this point. Others mentioned receiving a key without tamper-evident packaging. This was not the case for me, as mine was in a sealed package. It's certainly unacceptable for these to come in a resealable bag like others have received though, and I would highly encourage returning any that arrive as such. With that said, a good security key would not be susceptible to any sort of tampering without being physically opened (and blowing a tamper fuse in the process). If someone has the means to circumvent such protections, they can certainly reseal a package to look unopened.

Does not work with AzureAD/Microsoft 365, no tech support
This company doesn't appear to actually very reputable. Their website for this model FIDO2 token clearly says that it's AzureAD compatible (screenshot attached), however - Microsoft does NOT list them as compatible. I was looking for a lower cost alternative FIDO2 USB key for my customers; and - this was among the lowest priced options at $15. The website says AzureAD supported - I rolled the dice. I'd say I lost, but only lost the time. It's being returned to Amazon. I tried to enroll it with AzureAD, and AzureAD says "this device type is not allowed". Weird, because it clearly sees it, and enrolls it, but fails on the final 'saving' step -- so upon digging deeper, it turns out that if devices aren't listed by Microsoft as compliant, they've blacklisted them. Microsoft tax - whatever. Identiv clearly shouldn't be listing it as AzureAD compatible without paying the MS tax. So - while it doesn't work out of the box for AzureAD; it's not non-functional. In your Security configuration for FIDO2, you can disable "Enforce attestation" -- with this disabled, the Identiv key DOES work. But - disabling this seems like a bad idea. So - Identiv goes in the trash. 2 stars for something that doesn't work? It DOES actually work, it's not worthless, it just doesn't work AS ADVERTISED (implied certification). They get a point for it being functional - I assume it might work with some other things. Now - I had to figure out how to MAKE it work on my own, I couldn't find any articles on their support site about Azure, FIDO2, or really even about this key at all. When opening a support ticket, you can't select this device to open a ticket against. It's as though it doesn't even really exist. Opened a ticket against something similar (close as I could find), and after 5 days I still hadn't received any response. Then there's build quality. It's thin and really light. So thin that my USB port doesn't hold it snugly - it doesn't fall out, but there's a noticeable wiggle/movement to the USB key when the button is touched lightly. it doesn't feel like the Identiv key is going to break though; it's solid -- just too thin. I'm afraid my users would break their USB ports eventually. For comparison, I also bought keys from Yubikey ($45), and Feitian ($17); both certified, both work, and both have no wiggle in the USB port. So - sorry Identiv, I wanted to like it, but lack of support from Azure or from your tech teams made it not-viable.

At first glance, this product stands out as a good for value and compatible with Microsoft and Gmail Email accounts. Compared to other brands like Yubikey, this product Identiv is much cheaper with similar features.
