I really enjoyed this. It didn’t feel heavy after eating, and it’s perfect for making my rock bowls without all the extra calories. What I love most is that it takes on the flavor of whatever seasoning or sauce you use, so it works with pretty much any meal. Great option if you want something low‑carb that still tastes good.

This rice is delicious when seasoned. I almost prefer it to white rice. Low calorie and low carb. Great product and will keep buying it.

The hearts of palm rice is a good alternative to rice if you are counting carbs. It is also healthier. If you are looking for a rice taste, this is not the product. Different taste and texture all together, but very good.

As someone who eats a ketogenic diet, there are a lot of things I can substitute for the everyday high-carb products out there. I’ve got my cheats for everything from pasta to apple pie! But the one thing I struggled with was a decent substitute for rice. Cauliflower rice is decent, but tastes too much like…well, cauliflower. We love to make jambalaya, but a huge part of it is adding rice to absorb all the delicious base sauce. I’ve had the HoP pastas, and they’re okay, so I was a bit skeptical about the rice, but I decided to try it anyway. Since we had other family members that wouldn’t eat the HoP rice, we did not add it to our jambalaya. But we did mix it up in our bowls and it did an admirable job soaking up the sauce. Went through our 3 bags in a few days eating leftovers and thoroughly enjoyed it.

This doesn't taste anything like rice, nor does it taste good. I bought 3 packets and am throwing out 2 of them.

It tastes ok, but the texture, smell, appearance, and taste is nothing like rice. In terms of texture, it's closer to little jello bites. Its hard to describe its taste, its pretty bland by itself, but it does not taste like rice. Overall, it's not bad, but if you're looking for a closer substitute for rice, this isnt it.

I tried this rice for the first time tonight. I added onion and garlic to the pan, rinsed the rice very well, and cooked it according to the instructions. It was really good. Tasty with a very nice texture. I'll definitely buy it again. Tomorrow, I'll try it in stuffed bell peppers. If you're on the fence, give it a try, I bet you'll end up loving it like I have.

Taste Is good, not a sticky rice, rinse well.

We tried it and I have to say that the price for the mini portion you actually eat is insane. The product is delicious, you can combine it many ways, indeed low caloric, but the price makes this product a luxury not a part of your weekly groceries.
