Amazon Basics Mono Gaming Chat Headset Officially Licensed for PlayStation 4

I wish I still had mine to add pictures but my cat destroyed the cord. Of all the cheap headphones I’ve ever owned, this is the one that sets the bar. The microphone is surprisingly sensitive (in a good way). The cord was strong and didn't give any feedback if it moved. It was also very comfortable for the longer sessions. I’m probably going to buy this again. Also, just because it says “PS4” doesn’t mean you can’t use it for the Xbox. A mic is a mic. EDIT: I bought it again. Still a great mic.

Relatively cheap, good sound into the single earpiece (which is what I was hoping for) -- telescopic band adjusts to head size pretty readily and easily, and the microphone arm is great on its "adjustable snake" post -- for anyone who has had an experience where they think it's "too tight", I just attached it to the box it came in overnight, which seemed to open up the diameter a little bit, haven't had any "piercing" or pushing on ear issues.

I don't know if it's because this is made for a kid and I'm an adult, but these headphones are not comfortable and don't fit well. The ear piece presses into your ear and starts to hurt after a while

As an avid gamer, I needed a comfortable chat headset that was affordable to replace the PS4 earbuds. These caught my eye. They were $8 so why not. I'm glad I did, everyone in chat says they can here me better than before. I hear them just fine. They're not stereo they're mono, which was what I wanted. I have a small head so they are still big for me, there's a lot of adjustability for larger heads and room for people who where glasses. Build quality is ok not great, all plastic, but what I expected for the price. Headband is loose not tight, which I like, feels very light on your head. It fits on the ear not over, which is good for long gaming hours. Volume and mute control is easy to reach. You can wear them on left or right ear by swiveling the mic to either side. Be careful when moving the mic, it's a little tight grab from the base and not the mic you could break it. Don't how long they will last but worth a shot.

Xbox One use review. I have purchased 3 of these headsets. Two for me and one for a friend. They have only been used on Xbox one series consoles and so far after over a month of use they are working well. I can hear others clearly and my party members can hear me clearly. Occasionally an echo will develop that others hear of their own voice. Through troubleshooting we have found if I reseat the 3.5mm plug or twist it a bit to ensure a good connection that has cleared the issue. Overall, I like the headset. It provides very little clamping pressure and the foam ear pad is thinker the. The Microsoft one and I don’t develop any hot spots. This will be my go to chat headset unless some one else can come out with a better single ear chat headset that exceeds this one. Been used on an Xbox One X, OG Xbox One and a stock controller and a series one Xbox Elite controller.

Felt flimsy but didn't care about it for the 5 bucks. Worked the first two evening I player Red Dead Online, then on third day plugging it into the controller it would not switch the mic over as if it was dead. Tried it in the other control and no dice. Went back to the cheap earpiece Sony gives you that has worked with no issue for years.

Great for the ps4 and extremely comfortable feels light! I'm a gamer who needs to hear my BOSE speakers when playing a game but for chat, I need a headset that does the job of communicating to my friends. This does it well. I hope it last for months..great price.lets see if its durable.

I bought these because I suspected my children wouldn't take optimal care of their headset. The unit took a good beating and lasted several months before it failed at a stress point on the connector (where they normally do). I was more than happy to order the very same item as a replacement. It works great and takes a beating. You can't beat the price.

Simply go for it. Very useful for being on calls through out the day.

It's a cheap plastic toy headphone, not even worth 100/- amazon is selling for 680 rupees with no noise cancellation with PS4 tag, I ordered return but no one bother to collect it even after a week's time

Am giving this review after 6 month of usage. I will recommend this to buy. Worth for money. I am using this only for office meetings. For that purpose only I bought this. It is working fine. 👌

good quality awesome performance.

I needed a head set for working from home on the company laptop to answer and make phone calls. Really love these and so affordable. Comfortable to wear, the sound is so clear. I've been using them for 2 months now and they still work great. Highly recommend.
