As there are no instructions included, no red to green charge light on the torch, how do you know when it's fully charged.

On my usb charger when plugged in will light up red when charging and turn green when charged fully. Hope this helps. I agree lacking instructions it was by luck I saw the light come on.

what batteries are required

No battery is required for this torch as it is charged via a USB cable hope this helps

Does this come with a charger and lead

Yes, it’s USB charged, and it comes with a lead. Really powerful little torch. Don’t expect a big torch, it’s about 20cm long, but does the job. Just don’t lose the lead!!!
