Used this on my original 1971 chevy Z28 for the steel wheels. it's been a few years and still no peeling. great product. would recommend this for steel. I have tested and it is 100%

Wear proper organic vapor respirator. Repeat wear respirator. OK that out-of-the-way it goes on like water covers really well. I go through about three paint cans to one etching primer. It cures faster with a heat lamp. Don’t use hot air to dry lacquer-based paint it shrinks with hot air; I’ve had fantastic results with heat lamp, or sunlight..
