Hi, can this be taken on a plane in carry on? I’m soon travelling with medication that requires to be cool

I would definitely NOT recommend you use them for keeping meds cold. They are very bad and become above 8C after a couple of minutes. And I believe you have to ask the airline company/airport for the special permission to carry them with the ice packs.

On average how long do these stay cold, (allowing for body heat) and why is it not stated as it's an important specification?

Hi, For me, on a normal day it lasts around 90min (getting warmer as it goes on). On a hot day (24°C) about 30-45min. I don't know why it isn't specified, that's an answer for the manufacturer.
