It came with 3 bolt installation spots and 1 spot with a stud. Original had 4 bolt ins. This was no problem though as it fit in fine. Only problem was original box had split and nut was missing for the stud but I had one in my saved collections. :-) It winched up the spare great after installation, just as others said its tight quarters and took a metric 13 ratcheting socket wrench to install easier. Can be done with a regular wrench but its tight quarters. Figure this will last 30 years like the original did too.

Bolt holes align properly and was able to install. However, the actual winch itself is too wide and does not fit into wheel center hole, so renders useless. Worth buying a used OEM instead for the same price. Do not purchase!

It's installed and working. It was missing a metric nut for the one bolt it came with. I had to size it up at Ace. Not any easy install because of location. Otherwise it works.

Before ordering, check the VIN number first digit. If J, your car is made in Japan and this will not fit. This only fits a Toyota Highlander that is made in the U.S.

was about 5lb. less than the original one that came off but got it off dealer as is ,was concern about low price but it works, has 400lb aircraft cable, not sure what happen to the original , cable was broken, my old van didn't have the spring connector so its and upgrade. holes line up , its holding the 80lb tire.

This was a very easy installation it works really well

Easy and fast DIY replacement. If you haven't changed yours yet it's probably seized – you should confirm to avoid being stranded because you can't access your spare. Part seems well made and functions as it should. It looks slightly different than the OEM part but installs perfectly. Doesn't come with 2 mounting bolts but you can simply reuse the factory ones. Last thing is it's easier than you might think working under your truck – there's lots of room because you're working behind the axle and the spare is removed so it's cavernous. If I could do it, you can too!

Piece of junk! Broke 1st use. Stripped gears and spins. Terrible cheap garbage
