I love how slick and sophisticated this cover looks on my remarkable. Although it is pricy it is totally worth the investment.

It does not save the work, is more like a chock board

I originally bought the Remarkable 2 bundle with the cloth cover, which works just fine. This "leather" case went on sale, and I jumped. It's nice, but there are a few things to note. First, although it says that it is "premium leather," it is hard to tell whether that means "genuine leather" or "real" leather. the material has a very fine grain that looks so consistent and perfect that I think it was printed or molded. It is not in the least bit soft like good leather should be, and it is just as hard as the cloth cover. When I smell it, there is only a hint of leather scent, and that is inconsistent - sometimes it just smells like plastic. Lastly, the wrap around is very stiff. So stiff that you cannot lay the tablet down level when the top cover is folded underneath, which is something the cloth cover does perfectly. Despite that, it looks nice and offers the same protection as the cloth cover. It is certainly functional. I doubt it is going to scratch. Time will tell whether it develops some kind of patina, but I am skeptical. Something tells me that, with a little Windex, it can be refurbished to factor fresh in no time.

My fiance wanted a be for Christmas. I actually bought the wrong one at first for like 170 but this one was only like 30.. big difference!! So I’m happy

I've had a Remarkable 2 for about a year now, and I've dallied with a handful of cases. Some good, some not so good. I've even had a case that looks just like this one in pictures. I thought "why spend the money on the Remarkable case?" Then I had the opportunity to pick up this case for review. And I can say, don't judge a cover by its photos. It is a different level of case than the third party cases out there. Those cases are something soft, likely cardboard, laminated in fabric. The Remarkable case is a thin poly sheet, or something equally hard and protective. You can tap it and hear it resonate. The third party cases have a magnetic attachment, but it's not as strong as the Remarkable case. And the third party cases are thin, but the Remarkable case is thinner. It's four stars instead of five because the price is still quite high. I get it, it's a luxury product targeted at luxury people, and I'm maybe some schlub who has crashed the party. But it is a really good case. If you have a $20-$30 case and like it, great. If you want the thinnest folio with a hard shell of protection, you might want the official Remarkable case.

La custodia originale per reMarkable 2 è senza dubbio un prodotto di ottima fattura: materiali premium, design minimale ed elegante, accoppiamento perfetto al dispositivo e una sensazione di solidità che si percepisce subito. Nulla da dire sulla qualità costruttiva. Il problema, però, è il prezzo. 139 euro sono oggettivamente sproporzionati, soprattutto considerando che sul mercato si trovano custodie da 15–20 euro ben realizzate, funzionali e che, nell’uso quotidiano, non hanno nulla da invidiare a questa originale. La differenza di costo non è giustificata da un reale valore aggiunto. Per questo motivo ho deciso di effettuare il reso.
