My dermatologist advised me Vitamin C lotion, when used consistently over time, may help improve the overall appearance of your skin, including reducing the appearance of dark spots and uneven skin tone. Vitamin C is known for its antioxidant properties and its ability to brighten skin. However, its effectiveness in lightening skin depends on various factors such as the concentration of vitamin C in the lotion, your skin type, and the cause of the skin discoloration. He advised me that for significant skin lightening results, it's often recommended to use specialized skin-lightening products that are formulated for that purpose and contain ingredients like hydroquinone or glycolic acid, under the guidance of a dermatologist. Always remember to use sunscreen during the day, as vitamin C can make your skin more sensitive to the discoloration
