This is the first dry guide coat I have ever used. I always just misted some flat black or similar spray paint but thought I would give the dry a try. I like it much better than using spray paint but if you are not careful you will have it all over everything. I recommend wearing latex gloves or something comparable and having rags/paper towels and spray cleaner handy. But as far as performance I have no complaints and sandpaper, sanding disks, rolocs, etc last way way longer without clogging
