Powerful, quiet, and effective for large spaces - this purifier noticeably reduced allergens
Who this is for: I have seasonal allergies and two shedding dogs, and needed a unit powerful enough for my large open living/kitchen/dining area (~1,200 sq ft). I also wanted something relatively quiet for overnight use. How I used it: I ran the Medify MA-112 PRO continuously for 3 weeks — mostly on auto mode during the day and low mode overnight. The unit was placed centrally in the living space, with unobstructed airflow around it. I also kept windows closed when pollen counts were high. What I noticed: Right away, there was a noticeable reduction in airborne dust and pet dander within the first 48 hours. After a week, the air felt less “stuffy,” and I was waking up with fewer allergy symptoms than usual for this time of year. The automatic sensor seems responsive; the fan speed adjusted appropriately when I cooked or when more dust circulated. Pros: ✔ Powerful coverage — handles a large area without constantly running at high speed. ✔ True HEPA filtration — seems effective against pollen, pet dander, and fine particles. ✔ Relatively quiet on low/medium — overnight use was comfortable. ✔ Sleek, modern design — doesn’t dominate the room visually. ✔ Easy filter replacement — front access makes it simple. Cons: ✖ Filter replacements are on the pricier side (expected with quality HEPA units, but worth noting). ✖ On highest speed, the noise level can be noticeable in a quiet room. Overall: For anyone dealing with allergies, pets, or large shared spaces, the Medify MA-112 PRO delivers consistent performance and visibly cleaner air. After weeks of use, it’s become part of my everyday routine — and I’ve noticed a real difference in air quality and comfort.

IT WORKS!
I bought this thinking that it would do very little in terms of scrubbing the air for dust and debris. I had read some reviews stating that it didn't do anything for them, and that it was not as good as X or Y product. This has not been my experience at all. I have owned this for over a year now, and it collects MASSIVE amounts of dust that I didn't even know existed. At the first filter replacement interval, I wiped the surface of the filter media, just out of curiosity to see how much dust it had actually accumulated. I was genuinely horrified and relieved at the same time when I saw the results. Horrified because the sheer amount of dust this unit collected on the filters was staggering. I didn't even know the air could be so dirty. I was relieved though because all that dust was now on these filters and not in my lungs. I can definitely say that my lungs have felt better, and I can breathe easier at night since I've purchased this unit. For reference, I run it at max speed throughout the day, every day, when I'm not in the room. Then I turn it down to the lowest setting and leave it running while I sleep. The noise is barely noticeable on the lowest setting, and it's placed within 3 feet of my ears. My only complaints are that #1 the filter replacements are quite expensive, but I guess it's fair since it actually is doing what they claim, and #2 when I bought this, it was about $200 for the single unit, and now I see that they have a 2-for-1 deal going on for these. I would have preferred to buy the 2-for-1 back then instead of the single. I'm honestly really happy that I bought this one, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again if I needed to.

Perfect Customer Service & Product is Top Tier
I purchased the MA-50 Aug 2021 and it has performed excellent. It recently had a L.E.D light go out but still operates without issue. This amazing company stood by their product. They are sending me a replacement unit, probably due to repair costs/distance of me living on Oahu. I am blown away. This Company stands by their product. Their product is Excellent and I am standing by them for life. I wanted others to know about this Companies Integrity. I WILL personally let others know. They empowered their Customer Support to take care of me.. I emailed back & forth with "Farrah A customer Support".. Many Mahalos from my heart, Sawyer

Bought a second one despite a few quirks
This is a good air filter. I'd purchased one for my bedroom, and even running at the low setting, it noticeably cleans the air. There are a few quirks that could have been done better, but rather than trying a different filter (and needing to buy two different sets of replacement filter elements) I'd bought a second one for my living room. The good: It's quiet, it's easy to use, it's lightweight, the visual design is pretty, and it fits in my space – almost. The quirks: The power cord plugs in the back, which means that the unit can't be placed next to a wall. It has to be about 2 inches away from the wall. The sides and the front can't go next to a wall either because that's where the air vents are. The control panel is on the top. There is space on the front where the control panel could go, but it's on the top. Unfortunately, this means that you can't put anything on top of the unit. It's the perfect size to put down a book you're reading on, but you can't. Also, good luck explaining to your cat or bird that they cannot perch on top of the unit.. The indicators are integral to the control buttons, not adjacent to them, this means that you cannot blackout the indicator lights with black tape without interfering with the controls. There is a button to dim the controls, but that button also glows, but it is significantly dimmer than the other buttons. However, if the unit is off, the power button flashes, and the dim functionality does not work. In my bedroom I find the dim function sufficiently dim, and the fan quiet enough to sleep nearby, but if I want to turn it off when sleeping, I need to unplug the cord to turn of the flashing power button, and that's annoying. But again, it's a good air filter, and despite the quirks, it's good enough for me to buy a second one.

It does the job without taking much space
It works well, removes dust and smell efficiently. It's quiet in low and medium mode. Its noisy at high mode, but I only need to keep at that level for few minutes when cooking something that smells or smokes. The timer works well, although the 4-hour timer light failed after a year in my device. The filter lasts for at least 1 year, which is good enough considering the device is in the kitchen, where grease can clog the filter (but I don't fry food at home, so not much grease). The only issue that one might have is that the air is pushed out straight to the front of the device, but I'd prefer to be able to change the airflow direction up. I improvised by tilting the device up a bit.

My Favorite Buy for a New Home
Would absolutely recommend if you're looking to clean up the air and/or remove odors. I bought this first thing after buying a new home. The house itself is old, so it had lots of years of dust and particle build up from previous owners. Which gave me some issues with allergies (runny nose, sneezing, coughing, etc). I picked this out after a bunch of research on air purifiers in hopes it would help. I can say it definitely has helped and has been my favorite purchase related to my new home so far. I've been using it for about 4 months now and it's been great. It cleared up my allergy issues pretty quick. It definitely does a good job of removing particles from the air. I use it in different rooms of the house and leave it going for a while when I either want some air flow, or to freshen up the room. My house and it's rooms aren't too large, so this fan is more than enough to move multiple rooms worth of air in a short time. This actually does a great job of removing smells from the air too. I didn't necessarily buy the air purifier for this, but have been happily surprised at how well it works for odor removal. Neighbors smoke, so it helps cut that scent a bit if I want to have the windows open. I've used it in the kitchen a decent amount to cut down on the smell of strong foods or smoke when food has accidentally gotten burnt (oops). I can leave this running in a room over night and it'll remove any lingering smells by morning. In the 4 months of having it the filter seems like it's still got a lot of life before I need to even think about replacing it. If you use it heavily daily or in environments thick with dust, particles, or intense smells it might not last as long? Very quiet on the lowest settings. Only used it in the bedroom overnight a few times. I do enjoy that the lights can be mostly turned off. The only feedback I would give to Medify for this model (M-50 V3.0) is maybe find a way to add a carrying handle or loop of some sort to the top? It can be kind of awkward to pick up and carry from room to room as it's a bit bulky in size. Definitely not worth taking a star away though.

Efficient and effortless air purifying at a great price
We live in a big city so air purifiers to help reduce air particles / dust are important. We also have 2 cats and 2 kids and a good friend with a cat allergy so need something that works well. We bought this unit for our living/dining/kitchen area which is just about 1000sf. Out of the box, this unit was super easy to get started and immediately began clearing the air - the sun was shining through the window so we could literally see the dust flow towards the unit's 2 filters! Here are the PROS IMO: 1. Filters are super easy to clean and change - the covers easily pinch to pull off (though would not be easy for a small kid to do) and the filers have a tab to pull out. I vacuum the layer of dust that collect on the outside of the filter, then change every 6-12 months). The outer cover can also easily be cleaned with plain soap and water since it is 100% removable. 2. Sound / speeds - there are 3 speeds on this unit. The first level is almost totally silent yet you can still feel a slight breeze from the output. the second is what I would describe as a light fan sound. The third speed is definitely louder and output stronger so we use it when cooking / cleaning or need to purify the entire room quickly for guests. What I do like about the 3rd setting is that it creates a good "white noise" for sleeping and drowns out "city noise" and other background noise. 3. Portable - this unit is light weight and easy to carry from room to room. We transfer it to the kids rooms when they have friends over then back to the kitchen area when cooking, then to the bedroom at night. 4. Cost - this was less expensive than many other comparable units that cover large rooms 5. Style - this has a nice, clean, modern style that can blend into any room. CONS well, none yet! If there was an additional feature I would like to see it would be a sensor of just how clean the air is. I highly recommend this unit!

Helps Tremendously with Bird Dust and Dander
I have bought air purifiers before, apparently never with true HEPA filters despite product claims, and wasted a lot of money. All of the air purifiers before collected dust and debris on the outtake, despite regular unit cleaning, telling me the air was barely being filtered! After much research once again, and reading reviews, considering all factors including cost, I decided on this model/size. I have two rooms with large bird habitats. The dust and dander had become overwhelming. Regular dusting helped minimally - I would dust and within a few hours could see the layer of white dust start to form on the rooms' surfaces. The air was a bit cloudy looking as well. I bought one for each room, the model that covers 500 square feet, even though the rooms average around 320-350 square feet. The volume of dust and dander, and the fact that both rooms have large doorways, justified the larger model. The cost was reasonable in relation to model size and savings realized since I bought a 2-pack. I dusted both rooms before installation. Both units have been running on high for a week. There is slight dust starting to collect now, but I discovered the filters needed a vacuum. Given the volume of dust and dander already in the air that needed to be filtered out, I started vacuuming the filters every few days. The amount of debris on the filters has been truly amazing. The air in the rooms is cleaner and smells better, too. The units are currently running on the highest setting, which is a bit noisy but I'm getting used to it. The first setting is whisper quiet and the second setting not much louder. As the air in the rooms stabilizes and is filtered 24-7, I'm surmising the weekly filter maintenance will decrease. Time will tell. Given the results after only one week, I'm pleased with the purchase and everyone is breathing/feeling better!

Saubere Luft

Rated as best available
My older air purifier (different manufacturer) had failed and, after a few months, I detected the air quality in the house was suffering. The Medify MA-25 was rated the best quality model of its size in an independent comparison I found online. While slightly more expensive than others of similar size, I chose this model because the quality of construction and cleaning effectiveness were rated the highest. After a few weeks, I am very satisfied with the performance of the unit, so much so that I went back and purchased a second unit for use in other rooms. Selection of fan speeds and shut-off timer are good, and work well. Removal of odours (e.g. cooking smells, pet smells) was also immediate due to the carbon filter. The room air seems "fresher" and allergic effects on sinuses have bee significantly reduced. I like the clean and compact design, and the ease of changing filters on each side of the unit. My only criticism is that the third (high) fan speed is fairly noisy if you remain in the room. At the second speed, the low noise is almost unnoticeable. I like the units very much and would recommend them for rooms of 1000 sq ft or less. My biggest criticism is of Amazon and its pricing. When I went to reorder the second unit, the price for the white model had increased by $80. So, I ordered the black model at the original price. One week after the black model arrived, the Amazon price for the black model had returned to its original level. That's not a big issue for me, although I would have ordered both units in white, by why the pricing trickery?
