Let me start by saying I notice other reviewers say they have difficulty with it never lying flat. A lot of RGB mousepads have the issues because of the way the plastic RGB outline and cloth are woven creating the tension to where it sits in one place so this is pretty common. All you have to do is keep heavy items sit on the non flattened parts to help it then after days or weeks of it helping all it can, all you need to do is bend the plastic rgb out layer a little but be careful not to do it to much as idk if it messes with the electronics. Ive experienced cheap ones and this is by far the best! Spend a little extra and get this one for sure. RGB is nice and bright. Software is kinda confusing with some features but not necessary either so not a big deal for me. The glide is nice and smooth/medium speed while being plush enough with the 4mm thickness to allow stopping power. USB hub on the mat! Cleaning the mat is super simple as well. All around good mat! Got it on sale for about 45$ so it was def a steal for me! Okay guys so I wrote this review in 2023 and I actually returned it for highly recommended X-raypad ROB Strata Aqua Control Plus wich had the coolest design I've ever seen and I still have it but now I've re bought this mm700 because the texture is way better IMO. The ROB was to rough for my liking and I feel like it gave my aim jitters. As you can see in the pic I've now added this pic here in 2024 and this is brand new out the box and I had heavy items sit on some edges for only a day and then bent the rgb strip so it sits flat and here it is after one day. This pad is perfect!

The Corsair MM700 RGB Extended Cloth Gaming Mouse Pad is excellent. The surface is smooth and consistent, perfect for both gaming and everyday work. The 360° RGB lighting looks great and adds a nice aesthetic without being distracting. The size is ideal—it easily fits a keyboard and mouse with plenty of room to spare. The pad lays flat, doesn’t slide around, and feels well made overall. Setup is easy, and RGB controls work smoothly. Overall, this mouse pad is high quality, functional, and visually impressive. The mousepad couldn’t be better. I was worried about it laying flat after I’ve seen some of the reviews and while some spots aren’t completely flat, they’re like 97% flat and likely will become 100% flat in no time. If you look at the images, there’s the hub at the top right of the mousepad which is where the light comes from and then travels around from there. It’s strongest closest to the hub, somewhat noticeably but it’s still very good all the way around as you can see from the photo I took. Regardless the lighting adds such a nice addition for the desk as even with an RGB keyboard and mouse, the desk felt lacking until this mousepad. The material is nice and clean black and very soft as well. I personally don’t expect to use the USB ports on the hub but they’re a nice feature should I need them. The mousepad is also slightly wider than my previous so the extra space is also welcome, but just be sure to measure because even the smaller version is fairly wide and long so be sure to measure first!

The Corsair mm700 RGB extended is a fantastic option in the limited world of addressable RGB mousepads. Some of the other options are as much as $120 and the differences do not follow the price. Some might have a few more "zones" or a qi charger built in. For me the price and the features on this one were just right. It has 3 individual light zones one is the corsair logo on the control box and the other 2 flow from the box outward each direction. The size of this pad was another big selling point for me. The 36.6" length was a bit longer than most comparable size pads, but not so big it hangs 4 inches over my desk like the goliathus. The 15.8" width is about 3 inches wider than most as well. The texture is a nice tight cloth that resists staining to a modest degree. My only issue and the reason for 4 stars was when I received the pad it did not lay flat. I tried pressing it with heat and many heavy objects for over a week. Eventually I had to take the control box apart and feed some of the light tubing back into it. I would not recommend trying this unless you are comfortable with your technical skills. But since then it lays flat and is a fantastic, bright, colorful addition to my workspace.

This thing is amazing. High quality materials, led strip is very thin and bright. The extra usb A is nice on the desk and the size is perfect.

It’s a large mouse pad that can be synched to your other Corsair RGB lights. Mousepad functionality is as expected and the lights are fun! Only drawback is that the lighting around the bottom of the pod isn’t as vibrant as near the top plug area. Kinda bugs me but not bad enough to return it. Overall really cool and the integration with iCue is great!

Das Mauspad macht optisch richtig was her. Die RGB Beleuchtung ist ein echtes Highlight und lässt sich über die iCUE Software gut einstellen und anpassen. Farben und Effekte funktionieren zuverlässig und sehen auf dem Schreibtisch sehr gut aus. Auch die Oberfläche ist angenehm und bietet gute Gleiteigenschaften für die Maus, egal ob beim Arbeiten oder Gaming. Die Verarbeitung wirkt insgesamt hochwertig und das Pad liegt gut auf dem Tisch. Leider hatte ich bei meinem ersten Exemplar ein Problem mit der RGB Beleuchtung unten links, dort war sie defekt. Deshalb musste ich es zunächst zurückschicken. Ich habe es mir aber nochmal bestellt, weil mich das Gesamtpaket überzeugt hat. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Mauspad mit starker Optik und guter Funktion, abgesehen von meinem ersten Defekt.

Great extra large RGB deskmat. More expensive than no name brands but integrates well with other Corsair iCue devices, looks great and works as expected.
