I spent a considerable amount of time trawling through reviews on different pressure washers before deciding on a Nilfisk and I must say all the positive comments were more than amply justified as I've found the Nilfisk140 to be an outstanding product! I first tried it out on the concrete floor of a horse stable that hadn't been properly cleaned in years and I was genuinely surprised how good a cleaning job it did with nothing more than water, it was really quite astonishing! The hose reel feature is a major plus too, I have say, I really can't fault this product at all and I'm delighted with this purchase!

This is a compact machine. Not too difficult to assemble, but make sure you get the screw holes lined up properly for the handle etc. It is a lightweight machine, but the bonuses are the hose reel retracts and the power cable although stores externally has not got a hard mastic outer casing also folds up easily. Initial tests on decking and car: works very well on high and medium power modes. Another bonus is the 2 x lance interchangeable nozzles, better than having 2 lances as with my previous make.

Works as it should, very powerful. The hose reel makes it easy to tidy away, it would have been good to have had a reel for the power cable too, or am I just being lazy?

The pressure washer was really easy to assemble and is very easy to work and operate. I used to have the C110 and this didn’t have any issues for the 9 years I had it, so I am confident that the core will have the same reliability synonymous with Nilfisk. The main reason for upgrading was for more power when cleaning brickwork and driveways (I’m currently building an extension so need to clean regularly). The new mode has great power and the variable power dial is really effective. I love the sleek design too and how easily everything works together. The only downside is the hose really. The 6m length isn’t quite long enough to easily get around the car and the hose is that plastic hose that tends to kink and is a little bit frustrating to use- however with most washers this is the standard hose which can easily be upgraded with third party parts afterwards if it is an issue to you. The additional power the core140 offers makes car cleaning a doddle and if you are a detailer using a foam Lance, the foam you get from this set up is second to none!

I bought this because it allows you to wind the hose into the body of the washer. This saves lots of fiddling. The washer works very well. I recommend it

The product itself is ok. But - what they don’t tell you is that in addition you have to buy a backflow preventer for £55, if you don’t already have one. It doesn’t work without one.
