Exceptional Headset for Enhanced Productivity
I recently purchased the Jabra Evolve 40 Professional Wired Headset, and it has significantly improved both my work and leisure experiences. This versatile headset is UC-optimized, making it a perfect companion for productivity and communication tasks. The audio quality is top-notch, delivering superior sound for calls and music. Whether I'm on a conference call or enjoying my favorite tunes, the clarity and crispness of the audio truly stand out. The stereo sound adds depth and immersion to my music, creating an enjoyable listening experience. I appreciate the flexibility of the 3.5mm jack and USB connection options. This means I can seamlessly switch between using it with my computer and other devices, offering great versatility. One of the standout features is the all-day comfort design. The lightweight and ergonomic build make wearing this headset for extended periods a breeze. The cushioned ear cups and adjustable headband ensure a snug fit without causing discomfort or fatigue. The noise-canceling microphone is another plus, as it effectively filters out background noise, ensuring that my voice comes through clearly during calls. Overall, the Jabra Evolve 40 Professional Wired Headset has exceeded my expectations. It has become an integral part of my work setup, enhancing my productivity and offering a premium audio experience for both work and leisure. If you're in search of a high-quality, comfortable, and versatile headset, I highly recommend giving this one a try. It's a game-changer!

Work Well & Love Them More and More!
While incredibly light and comfy, I cannot hear my own vo ice. Tonality is quite important, but when I slide these forward a bit, problem solved. The sound is great. The music has clarity. The boom mic has flex and spins ambidextrous. I love the remote puck features and is the main reason I wanted these cans. The rubber bottom and its own weight keep it in place. The male end of the headset is designed not to pull easily from the hub so, I have not missed a beat while being yanked by my ears when I try to reach for something while on a call. *Updated to 5 stars after More experience with them.

Better than I expected, but still not perfect.
As someone who spends 4-6 hours a day on the phone, I've tried just about every headset on the market. I've been using the same Plantronics Audio 478 for the past few years because it was so comfortable, affordable, and had great sound quality. My mute button stopped working so I was forced to try a new headset. I ordered the Jabra Evolve 40 with realistic expectations that I may not love it. To my surprise, this headset turned out much better than I had expected. The good: - Really good mic audio quality - No annoying side tone being looped back into my ears like other manufacturers do (Plantronics) - Good build quality - USB or 3.5mm connectivity The bad: - The leatherette ear pads block out ambient noise in a way that makes you feel a little claustrophobic. - The way the boom mic is attached to the headset is a little weird. Also, it's really loose and makes a ton of noise if you try to rotate it or adjust it while on a call. - The sound quality of the headset speakers are mediocre at best. This is common for business related headset, and I'm not surprised..but I hope for better. Conclusion: This headset provides a decent value and I'm mostly happy with my purchase. For the money, you can't go wrong.

Excellent quality for the price
I felt the need to review because there were wildly varing reviews out there and I almost didn't purchase these. I own 3 varieties of BOSE headphones, and I needed to get a new headset with a USB connection since my work laptop is broken in that I can hear web calls but not speak. I'll address some conflicting reviews that I found to be bunk: Comfort - I'm usually not a fan of on-ear headsets but these are padded and comfy. They aren't too light as to slip off, nor are they heavy or bulky. One reviewer said the cord and control circle (volume and mute) was so heavy as to drag the headphones off his head ... totally untrue. The cord is very long - you can slide over to your file cabinet or printer - yay. And the cord is NOT heavy as to feel its weight on that side of the headset. Sound - The sound is excellent and as I mentioned, I'm a BOSE girl. There are so many USB headsets in the $39 - $79 range and I'm glad I spent the extra dollars for this price point. Working from home in the COVID age means a lot more WebEx and Zoom meetings, and sound - and noise cancellation - has to be excellent. One reviewer said she could hear herself breathing. That only happens when the mouthpiece is aimed at your nostril - duh. Move it. I can't comment on longevity as these are new, but hopefully these will have a nice long usage life.

YES!!! FINALLY!!!! A HEADSET THAT WORKS!!!
I use my headset exclusively for Skype and WebEx calls through my Windows 10 laptop. I've tried at least five other headsets and it's always the same: sound quality sucks. Not with this one! Everybody I talk to can hear me crystal clear, I can hear them without any sort of distortion or muffling or whatever. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that I can hear myself in the earpieces with zero delay. Most other headsets I've tried use VOIP through the earpiece so it's like calling into a radio show and leaving your radio volume turned up. Things I like: 1. The microphone sits far enough away from my mouth that other callers don't hear me breathing. 2. The control pad for volume/mute/answer/hang up sits flat on the desk in easy reach. A short tone plays for each button press. 3. Integration with my Windows 10 laptop was plug & play, no downloads or installs. 4. Switching between "listen through the laptop speakers" and "listen through the headset" is a simple mouseclick on the volume icon in the system tray. 5. Headset itself is comfortable. Time will tell if it hurts my ears during long calls (my expectation is that it will but I'm ready for that. Thanks Jabra!!!

Overpriced trash
When it works, it's okay, but outclassed in most respects by the much less expensive Logitech H340 I used for many years before this. The good parts: reasonably comfortable, good noise cancellation on the microphone; other people on the call report clear sound and they can't hear much background noise (which is great because occasionally the kids get noisy). Works out of the box with both MacOS and Ubuntu. The little "on a call" light is a genius idea. The not so good parts: Unless I keep my head perfectly level, it tends to slip off. There is a LOT of noise when the cord rubs against my collar, and if the microphone gets too close to my nose/mouth I can hear myself breathing, almost to the point of drowning out any other audio. It defaults to mono sound and occasionally reverts to mono sound and there are no visible controls to alter that. The call and mute controls on the puck only work sometimes (both Zoom and Google Meet); other participants on the call sometimes report being able to hear the beep when the microphone mute button is pressed. I've had multiple occasions when the audio just cut out in the middle of a call and at that point the operating system reported that there was no device attached (again, happened on two different systems, one running MacOS and one running Ubuntu, so it's clearly the headset's fault and not something broken with my computer). I've also had on one occasion an instance where the audio was nearly drowned out by a loud crackling sound as though the audio cable was loose; all of the connections I could reach were still secure. The "on a call" light is on the wrong side of my head and faces away from the door (so is useless for me, other models have lights visible from both sides so they apparently have figured out that people do have two sides to their heads), and the feature where it turns on automatically for Zoom et.al. only worked once and never again after that. The horrifying: given all the "not so good" bits, this is overpriced by a factor of 10 at least. I would have returned this if I hadn't foolishly thrown the packaging away already.

Jabra - Needed a new headset with microphone
I ordered them to replace my work headset... Double earphones and a microphone exact model as my old headset... Working great... Not that I have to explain what the left side is new and the right side is worn out... Also took a picture of the plug it is the one with the flat top and bottom.

Ideal Headset for work Teams and Zoom Calls
Works very well for virtual calls at work and connects very reliably to my laptop through USB. Overall fit is comfortable sitting lightly on the ear versus over it which allows some sound through which can be a pro or a con depending on your work environment. The main thing that pushed me to get this is the mic is much better and directional than my previous headset making it ideal for only picking up my voice in a busy office. Would recommend to those who want a nice upgrade from their "work standard issue" headset

E. sehr gut. Daher volle Punktzahl.
