I have used a wide variety of foot files. Some hurt to use even gently, some just didn't do a good job, some you had to use a lot of pressure. Overall none have done a great job for me. I'm not sure why, but this one didn't appeal to me, so I saved it for last, In only six days, my feet are the smoothest they've ever been, heel cracks are gone, thick calluses are gone, undersides of my toes are smooth. I can hardly believe it. At first, I tried the fine side - the side without the raised circles, and I have to tell you, it felt weird and took some getting used to. I almost gave up on it, but am I glad I decided to try again. The side with the raised circles is aggressive, but not painful as several other foot files were. Not only do my feet look much better, but the cracks had caused me some real issues, and this was much more effective at getting rid of them. And it's washable. Even some of my five star reviews I say within the review are actually four and a half stars, but not the Buddha Bath Ultimate Foot File - this is an absolute five star product for me, and I'm very happy I decided to try it.

I am so happy I purchased this. I used a product before I received this foot file. I soaked my feet in this product and over the next 4 to 5 weeks my feet peeled gross skin like I have never seen before. So I have this nice new like feet however wearing sandals all the time the bottoms of my feet look dirty. I would of course use soap and water and try to get them clean again to little avail. I saw this Buddha bath file and thought it would be worth a try since the reviews seemed good and the price seemed reasonable. Boy let me tell you I wished I had purchased this a long time ago! I have used expensive scrubs and pumice stones of various sizes, shapes and materials and have NEVER had results like I do know! Two minutes in the shower and my feet look clean and feel soft just like after my long treatment process I did to get new baby skin feet! I am not sure how long this file will last but I can say this...when it does need to be replaced I will definitely use this product and this seller again. They are both top notch!

GAME CHANGER Let me begin by saying I NEVER write reviews. I am way too busy, which is one of the reasons I always shop on Amazon. But this product is truly something special. I get regular pedicures and always pay the extra $5-10 for callus removal - which never lasts. This product is amazing. It really, really works. The first time I used it I was at each foot for about 10 mins (watching TV) and had to hand-vacuum up the little bits of dead skin afterward (sorry if that's TMI). Thereafter I just use it for 30 seconds or less each night in the shower and my heels are no longer cracked, dry or "permanently" dirty. It doesn't hurt or tickle or make me cringe at all the way other products of this nature have in the past. I can confidently wear flip-flops or sandals without feeling trashy with dirty feet. Get this product - you won't be sorry.

This is my favorite foot exfoliating tool! It is way better than the pumice stone that I used to use. Easy to hold, efficient dry or wet with two sides - one for exfoliating and one for smoothing -this Buddha Bath Pedicure Foot File and some moisturizer keeps my feet baby soft all year round. No more “winter” feet! I like it so much that I have even gifted the Buddha Bath Foot File along with colorful nail polishes, fingernail files, and moisturizing lotions in mani / pedi birthday home spa day packages for friends.

This foot file seems quite sturdy. It has a smooth, slightly curved handle for ease of use. There are two side, one for rough skin and the other I'd say is for harder calluses. I love this file! I only had to gently file my heels two or three times with the side for rough skin and it worked great. With other files I would have had to use more pressure. It is also described as a foot "rasp", which makes me think more of a cheese grater type of file and this is NOT that. I like this type much better because it gets the job done without tearing up your heel. It left my heels very soft and smooth. I will say that when I touched my fingers to it, it seems like you could hurt yourself if you use too much pressure, so be warned. If you use it gently I think it would take care of even the hardest callus.

I have tried many different callus removers over the years. This is BY FAR the best most durable one. It is easy to use. Very effective. Not harsh. It will last for years. This is the second one I purchased, only because I lost the other one. If you rinse it off after use, and air dry. It does not dull down as abrasion type foot files will. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to remove calluses on their feet. Your feet will look normal and pretty with regular use.

I've been using this for years. I've tried alternatives that tear up my feet if I use them daily, like I use this one. It's just enough exfoliation to keep my dry feet cared for and lookin' good, but also won't tear up my heels with frequent use. I've been using the same product for three years and am just now looking into replacing it. The metal had started peeling off of the handle. This is a worthwhile product, in my opinion.

While both a pumice stone and this foot file will help even and buffer out areas with heavy calluses, this foot file almost feels like using a sanding block with nice even strokes. The smooth buffering side of this really makes the difference for me though as the hard textured calluses are rendered into a smooth finish. I ended up buying 4 of these as they are easy to use in the shower and they haven't snapped in half like a few of the pumice stones I used to own. I have been leaving it just in the shower and haven't noticed any mold or mildew growing on it (or the edges which the actual filing portion sits on where there was the safety film) but will update my review if I begin to see any growing.
