The Time of shipment was long but worth it! Review: After experiencing some issues with another brand, I made the switch to this brand of micellar water. I have really strange dry/oily combination skin, so finding something that will work for me is usually a bit of a challenge. I was pointed to this brand by a beauty guru on YouTube, and other, non-guru people have said it works best for them. This hasn't made me break out. If anything, using it with a nice toner and following it all up with some face cream has made my skin as soft as it's been in awhile. I convinced my husband to try it, because I had an extra bottle - he's got really oily skin that is super prone to breakouts, and while he's tried everything, he humored me and tried it. I know how much he's tried (the number of people that suggested Proactiv or Cerave or whatever is just ridiculous and irritates him), so I usually don't bother suggesting stuff to him, but when I noticed how much more my skin was behaving, I figured it was worth a shot, especially if gurus with skin oilier than mine seemed to like it. It isn't 100% "this fixed my skin!!" for him, but it certainly reduced the number of breakouts. He verified that when he traveled out of town and didn't take it with him; his skin appeared to get worse without the micellar water, so he's asked me to order extra when he starts to run low. I'm sure his face could benefit from something in addition to it, but I was already pushing it when I suggested the micellar water, so I won't continue pushing unless he asks for more skin advice. ;) My skin can be sensitive at times, and this hasn't caused anything to flare up. I really do love and recommend this product; my skin has felt so much more balanced since I started a routine that used this, my favorite toner, and face cream. It even helps remove some waterproof mascaras, as long as you sort of wet the cotton pad with it and hold the pad on your eye for a few seconds. I plan to keep using this as long as I can. I just hope they carry it when we move out of the country for a couple of years.

I'm lazy, so I sometimes get tempted not to remove my makeup at night. However, every time I start to think it'll be ok, my mom's dire warnings about what would happen if I didn't take off my makeup spring to my mind, and I ultimately make at least an attempt to remove it. Usually when I'm tired/lazy, that means using a makeup remover wipe - but they get expensive, and can be harsh on my skin. I also never seem to get everything off with them. So, I typically make every attempt to wash my face properly and use good eye makeup remover to ensure that everything comes off - well, at least I did until I read about Micellar Water recently. I immediately ordered Simple's on Amazon (it was the most reasonably priced one I could find,) and tried it out. I have to use 2 cotton balls to get all my makeup off, but the Micellar Water makes my skin feel as clean as it does with proper washing, and more moisturized. I read reviews that you can't use it on your eyes, but the directions just say to gently wipe around closed eyes - so I took that to mean i could use it on my eyes as long as they were closed & I was careful. So far I haven't experienced any irritation, and it does a great job of removing my eye makeup - even waterproof mascara. This new routine requires an extra step than using a makeup remover wipe would, but it's still quicker and easier than a full wash - while giving me almost better results. I don't know how this compares to "traditional" European Micellar Waters, but so far it's performed completely as advertised for me, and I'm very happy I tried it.

Finally available in the USA at a reasonable price! I always stocked up on Micellar water products when I went to France - they've used it & loved it for years. It was supposedly invented for Parisian women because the water in Paris is so "hard". The water is hard there, I can vouch for that & that is why the pharmacy was always one of my first stops when arriving in Paris. Hard water makes it difficult to remove your makeup & tends to dry out the skin. This is really good micellar water. I also have the Simple Micellar Wipes & love those too. I use this water on a cotton pad to remove any eye makeup on days when I do not wear foundation. This stuff is not magic, it's science & it's been around for a long time. The micelle surfactant molecule is suspended in liquid/water and kind of grabs on to the dirt/oils/makeup on your face & doesn't allow it to stick on your face. (That is my simple, non-scientist explanation.) There is no irritation - even around eyes. And the skin actually feels clean without rinsing with tap water - really! When you use it, it seems like you are just using regular tap water except it actually dissolves/grabs the goo/makeup off your face.

INCREDIBLE! Great with rosescea. I looked several years younger with ONE use. I keep feeling my face and looking in the mirror because I can't believe what a huge difference there is in my skin! I have used it twice now. It does take quite a bit, but it easily removed my foundation and I used it on a Q-tip for my eye makeup and my eyes were cleaner than they've been in a long, long time. No sting, did not irritate my rosecea at all. I have used many different cleansers and they have all irritated my face. My skin is moister and healthier than its been in many years. I can't see any cons at this point. I will update if things change. I just bought my daughter a bottle too. This stuff is just awesome! Single best skin care product I've ever used. And no, I didn't get it for free and don't work for the company. Check my other reviews if you don't believe me. Update: I went through the bottle pretty fast, so I watched several You Tube reviews comparing different brands of micellar water. I ordered a bottle of Garnier Micellar Water and have compared the two extensively against each other. Both took the same amount of product to remove my makeup. No difference in scent. Both are free of scent. The Garnier does flow over the skin a tiny bit better. Sime reviews of the Garnier said you had to shake it and their was a slight bit of separation in the bottle, but the bottle I received did not have that issue. All in all, I would rate them exactly the same. The Garnier was a bit less expensive per ounce.
