Used for a 3 inch gap between pipes for sump pump drainage.
I bought this to replace a connector I got at Lowe’s, but I guess it was either not a snug fit or I didn’t put enough cement to keep the pipes from leaking - so there was a noticeable leak. I found this and after having used a similar rubber pipe with metal adjustable clamps in the check control valve from PumpSpy, I figured it was a safe bet and I’ve tested the sump pump 4x since installing it and zero leaks. The extension worked perfectly!

Saved me thousands
This saved me thousands. My plumber had the standard 4” Fernco and I need 5” and he told me they don’t make longer ones and I’d have to break up the concrete floor from above and replace all the pipes. I found this and installed it myself in the ceiling of the 1st floor for the second floor sink drain.

Great length.
I used this under a garage sink when the new self-contained sump unit wouldn't quite align with the old plumbing. I left a couple of inches of the offset open and this made a smooth transition. Saved me a bunch of under sink fiddling with fittings. Also made the sump unit easy to access if needed.

Used on camper gray tank drain pipe
Worked well to repair a break on a RV waste pipe. Sizing was correct on the sleeve I received. Used some liquid soap to slide the sleeve over the pipe ends
