when you are working with dealer parts
I'm not going to say you should buy these Knipex tools, I'm not going to say that there aren't better options for less $$$, but what I am going to say is that when you are working on your car, in tight spots where you can't necessarily get both of your hands on the job, you will want the best and most ergonomic pliers, cutters around. What I have found is these are some serious tools they really feel good and make holding and cutting anything within their capabilities seem like you have an extra set of hands. The diagonal cutters here will go through any hose clamps, springs or the heaviest cables on a car. I have wasted so much money on water pump pliers and diagonals and needle noses that I probably paid for this purchase 10x. These tools will last a lifetime and help you make the cleanest work possible especially when you are working on expensive parts like a water pump or plastic tubing PCV, the last thing you want to do is make another trip to a dealer for another expensive car part - I just did a radiator on an Audi and these tools along with the Knipex spring clamp pliers made the job easy. Best tools out there, IMO!! The saying you get what you pay for really applies here, you get big time quality!!
