Q: Is the bowl glass or plastic?

Durable plastic. It can survive a tumble and is dishwasher safe.

Q: So, was wondering if it was possible to buy a replacement inner salad basket? Asking for a friend. A friend who didn't see it was hand wash only #fail

To be honest I brought the product and returned it very soon as I was injured with it’s poor design, as far as I am aware the product does not have any replacements available.
