I’m so glad I found this spray! I use it with a dematting tool on my maltipoo’s hair and it really works on hair mats! I’ve gotten through some stubborn tangles and it leaves his fur soft and shiny. I find the scent light and reminds me of what the groomer uses, fresh and clean.

Written by account holders wife - I have a poodle - chances are if you are reading this review you do too and you are dealing with stubborn mats that even with the best grooming happen especially on the ears or tail. I broke my dominant wrist, arm, and hand and was unable to properly groom him for 3 months or drive so you can just imagine how bad is fur was once I got my brace off and was even close to being able to try to use my hand and wrist. The razor or cutting his hair wasn’t an option as his hair was that bad and I could not yet do that ad I didn’t have the function yet and still wasn’t able to drive so this product was a handful of things I ordered but one of the first things I tried since I have used this line of products on my own hair and know how great they are. If you have read my reviews before I am very honest as I depend on reviews for my own purchases. 1) It worked - it really did! I was honestly hopeless on thinking I could actually get them out and I was sure he was going to have to go some place to have them cut out and be groomed which was going to be traumatic for him as I have always groomed him since I am highly allergic to non hypoallergenic dogs and most perfumes so groomers, pet smart, and even the vet are asthmatic for me. But I spray it on - I rubbed it in with my hands like I was petting him - getting it deep and I let it sit - then I started brushing him and the brush started to slowly ease right through! 2) The product is not watery to me it’s oily but that’s what makes it work. 3) The bottle size is the size as stated- and the price is on point if not lower imo as you would spend in store. This is high end hair products. 4) The ingredients smell great, work great, made his fur easy to brush and shiny. This product really saved my fur baby from getting shaved down. 5) I’m sticking with this product now just because as poodles have super sensitive skin and this doesn’t bother him and it doesn’t bother my asthma and it smells great and works great. I love the BIOSILK brand for my hair, so I thought BIOSILK FOR DOGS would be great and it is! It smells so fresh, not too strong but just enough floral scent to make our pup smell so good. Super easy to use- just spray on the pup, then the brush glides so easily through her coat. It left her coat so soft and shiny and wasn't wet or sticky, dried/brushed in pretty quickly with no residue or evidence that she had been sprayed with something. I think this will be paramount to keeping her from getting matted. Recommend!

Giving four stars only because the spray mechanism gets difficult. I’ll just put it in another bottle. This works great, between baths to gently comb out my thick coated Pomeranian. I also just purchased the shampoo and conditioner. Some have mentioned that they don’t like the smell. I just came here to state that I have migraines that much of the time are caused by chemical smells. I am very sensitive to hair and beauty products, and also air freshener products. This product line does NOT give me a migraine! To me the smell is nice, also. I happened across the spray, shortly after purchasing my little boy a year or so ago. I remembered using the human version, years ago, and it did not hurt my head, so I purchases it to try it on my pup. I’m very glad to have found this product line for pets. It works really well, and so do their other products.

Wonderful—it detangles my Yorkshire Terrier’s hair super easily and leaves it looking beautiful and smelling amazing.

I really like the scent of this spray—it smells clean and pleasant without being too strong. It works great for detangling my dog’s fur and makes brushing so much easier. If I take my dog out for grooming, detangling alone can cost quite a bit, so this has been a great money-saver at home. I’ve tried a few other brands before, but this one works better than all of them.

Product is okay. I have a Coton de Tulear and they have very thick hair that matts easily. This stuff is lightweight, not greasy at all, smells amazing, and makes my dog's coat smooth and decently shiny. However, I do not find that it is a great detangler. I need something else more robust.

I’ve been using BioSilk for Dogs Detangling Spray for a long time on my Pomeranian, and it works great every time. It helps remove tangles easily and leaves the coat soft, smooth, and manageable without feeling greasy. Grooming is so much easier now, and my dog’s fur looks healthy and shiny. Highly recommend for long-haired breeds!

Good product nice smell

I have a little Shorkie (Yorkie & Shih tzu X) with the absolute worst coat I have ever seen. I swear her hair grows in matts! I could brush her her until the end of time and the minute the wind blows, she lays down or you pet her.....She needs to be brushed out again. Thankful she doesn't mind being brushed. She has long yorkie coat on top and this undercoat of constant matted fluff. This is the first product that has actually helped in the dematting process. She is only 10 months old and I wanted to try leaving her hair in a longer puppy cut because we love the look. However we my opt for a teddy bear cut sooner than later. I highly recommend this product, especially when dealing with puppies as it just makes grooming more enjoyable for the both the dog and you. I found it to have a nice pleasant clean smell. Nothing over powering. Will definitely keep it on hand. Even my groomer is now ordering it!

Works well to help detangle matted fur and leaves the fur soft and shinny. I would recommend this product.

Really happy with this product, the conditioner works better than the spray - however, both are awesome, will definitely repurchase again
